My SO lives in STL so I will be going down for this one as well. As long as you are there before 4 you are guarenteed bottles. With that being siad we will probably head over around 10 or 11 to bottle share. Hope that helps.

As long as you're in line by 4 PM you're guaranteed an allocation (to be determined). A lot of people shows up early for the bottleshare, posible suprise releases, and to be able to get back in line again for 2nd/3rd allocaton if permitted and if there is any left after everyone has gone through once. Hope to you see you there!

    Holy Sh*&! 10 or 11? lol

It sounds like there is quite a bit and as long as you're in line by 4 you'll get some. If you can, I suggest getting there a little earlier for the bottle share though. As of now it looks like the weather will be decent

EDIT: It looks like some others beat me to the punch

I'm debating making the trip down and this will be my first SP release. What do you mean by surprise releases? Have they done this before? and with what bottles?

I've heard great things about the bottle shares that go on at these releases so i'm mainly going for that.

It had happen before but it will be random. Last time it was at the SdF release, the first 100-200 of people got to purchase a bottle of FdF. The bottle share is really awesome and Perennial is awesomer by allowing this so please be the awesomest and clean after yourself and be respectful of the neighnoring businesses and neighbors. It got a little out of hand last time at the PN release. I'm not directing this at you BigBadBeerSnob but just put to that out there for everyone to be aware.

Cant like this enough. Perennial is awesome by letting people hang out and share hours before they open. Clean up, dont get blacked out, and have fun.

Funky Wit at the PN3 release was a nice little bonus too! (though not SP, or super hyped it was still cool)

Hey guys, I'll be in town from Houston and will get to make it to the release this Friday. A couple questions:
    • It sounds like people get there pretty early to share bottles and whatnot. How many people usually show up for the share?
    • I know limits will be determined by the number of people in line, but what are limits usually like for a release like this?
    • And finally, if I only have time to stop by right before 4pm, how long should I expect to wait to get through the line to purchase bottles?
Thanks in advance. Hopefully I can make it early and bring some bottles to pop with y'all!

    @rainerschuhsler

People will get there and start sharing bottles around mid morning I'd imagine. There isn't really a formal share area, some folks will set up towards the front or by the picnic tables, others will be sharing with others around there spot in line. I forget the Saison du Ble limits in the past but they were kind of on the higher side (6-8 maybe?) I don't want to speculate on what limits will be or how long the line will take. All I know is there will be a good size crowd and this will affect limits and line length

Good to know. I'll be sure to check a shipper on my flight and will plan on hanging out a while, so that I'm not in any kind of rush to get out of there. Thanks!

Heading down from Iowa City for the Friday night Cards game, so planning to make the stop for the release. I have access to some TG beers to bring down (Pseudo Sue, Light Speed, Golden Nugget, Pompeii, Rover Truck, etc). Message me if you're interested in an IP trade. I'm interested in most SP and Perennial offerings.

    2. 2-4. Like others have said thouhg this one has been higher in the past. I wouldnt count on it though with alot of people coming in for MWBBF

They have gotten pretty good at these releases. There were well over 500 people at the Pulling Nails release and I think everyone went through once under 1 hour with 4 pay stations.

Wow, only 100 people? What release was that? The least I've seen are around 200-300, and those are the same day releases.
