Doubt there will be Kriek, but last year you could buy a funky wit. Wouldnt be shocked to see something like that for sale as well this time.

I doubt that Perennial will do anything like that this year. They've been sticking to their Thursday release program pretty extensively. And thanks to all the non-shows to the Devil's Heart of Gold release. God I loved the 4-bottle allotment.

And LOL to the reminder tweet...like we need reminding.

Of course. was more interested to see how early people actually start forming a line.

Since the release is at Perennial, there is a "rule" of not before 6. Which is pretty much adhered to.

There is no reason to get there before 9am. 3 hours is plenty of time to hang out and share some bottles with out it decending into a complete shit show. This will probably be my 10th time going to a release there and I have never not recieved beer/seen someone not get beer. Doesnt matter if we were there 3 or 4 hours early or 15min late.

So there have never been perks for those showing up first? Isn't that how Fuzzy magnums were sold?

If these breweries didn't reward people for being first in line, the people would show up later.

Cory did tickets 2 ways for the Fuzzy magnums. First 20 or so people received tickets, then he came back through using a random number generator. I was the last person who got a ticket b/c of being "early" and I can tell you there were a few bummed people who might come a little earlier if they think he will do tickets like that again.

Im not saying there are no perks for getting there earlier rather than later. I am saying that there is no need to line up to start drinking at 5 am based on the off chance you might get an extra bottle.

I'll be there at 10 am. Cheers to those who show up at midnight. Also scored a Fuzzy last time. I'll stick to my strategy.

I am sure this is mentioned somewhere in the thread but this will be my first SP release. Cash only?

They take credit cards. I actually don't think they take cash. I am not sure on that though, but I'd make sure you have a card.
