    Hey Cory

Is it normal to bottle condition for 14 months? That seems like a long time. What was the reason?

$40 onsite, check their twitter. They always post a pic of the board when something is added and it includes prices and limitations.

I am going to assume(so I could be totally wrong), that if the beer was all spontaneous, it might take that long for the taste to get to what Cory was aiming for. Could probably get some insane flavors if you sit on the bottle for longer.

I'm headed to SP Cellar on Tuesday for the first time ever if anyone is interested in sharing bottles from the cellar. I'll be there around 3:30 and staying until they kick me out haha. Cheers!

Jesus. Secondary on V14 is already fucking rediculous. Hopefully it lasts for awhile at the celler. Would love to try it.

I could never have released this in bottles given the process Cory described for this beer. The beer sounds like art, a labor of love, and as such probably deserved a pricey ticketed, drink on site tasting event where the brewer could interact, explain the vision, and soak up the accolades knowing some jerk wasn't able to sell his baby in the secondary market.

Yep. I get trading but not the secondary. My collection of SP at home is the pride and joy of my cellar. I dont know how ppl sell it.

LOL. The art of blending 2 barrels from 2014 and bottling.

From what I have dug up, early use of "oude" was for gueuze and lambic that had been resting (conditioning) for at least a year before being released. I wanted to follow as many traditions as possible with it and knew when I bottled it that it would be at least a year before release. My version of an oude lambic.

    Hope that helps?

    Cheers!

Looks like they are out of Vintage 14 today, I didn't see it written on the board.

Has anyone tried PN5 yet? Thoughts?

For those still lining up, if you happen to read this, I'd suggest getting a pour of the Perennial/S.P./2nd shift 2015 barrel blend. Very nice blend.
