D6 is gone. Probably only for special occasions now if there's any left at all.

 

There should be D6 bottles released through TWCP who knows when though.

 

So basically go to the wine and cheese place during your stay, sign up for their BRC club and drop a TON of money. Either that or wait a while. Cory is good about retiring beers, so it will drop off the top 250.

 

Agreed, any beer marked as limited (brewed once) will only stay on the list for a year.....man I remember the days when that list actually mattered, now with untapped and BA's change in their rating formulas, its just white noise

In 2018.

 

Tasting room opens this weekend. There will be a bottle release:

Side Project Foedre Fermier – A limited expression of our Saison du Fermier that was fermented in and aged in a Medium-Toast Missouri Oak Foedre with our local microflora. It will be available to purchase to-go in the new Side Project tasting room at 7458 Manchester Road in Maplewood starting at 12pm on Sun, Dec. 18th. It is 7% ABV, $25 a bottle, and the bottle allocation is to be determined.

 

If it's half as good as SdF Pinot I want an entire case

 

"bottle allocation is to be determined" gives me hope that it will be more than 1pp. Already promised a bottle to a trade partner, so Ive got my fingers crossed

 

Also very curious about bottle shares in line while waiting... I'm thinking Maplewood will frown upon that

 

The only share I will be interested in is a heater of some kind.

 

It doesn't sound good for bottle shares. Legal issues with the city aside, release shares at Perennial were getting to be a little excessive and I don't think the neighborhood could handle that.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the brewery opening and trying beers from the new Shared Brew side of things!

What was the limit for SdF Foeder on Sat? I also missed the release. Weather in KC was awful and I'm on crutches.

Thank you and I am sorry to hear about that! I will say that the brewery will be back open on NYE from 12pm to 7pm and we will be releasing Oude du Blé Blend 2. Saving a little SDF to have available to-go that day too .

Yeah, Shared will be a completely new and different venture. I will create the brewery on here and all Shared beers will be under that brewery/name since they are a completely different focus and mindset than my Side Project beers. Really excited to get to brew a Pilsner, a Porter, and yes, some hoppy beers!

Vibes is actually the same recipe as Derivation 3, just not barrel aged. We brewed a big batch for barrels, but left a little to see how it worked without the barrels and Vibes was born. I love how it turned out and we are re-brewing Vibes asap and will bottle and release it under Shared. We also have 2 Shared Saisons in the works, a Barleywine, several Vibes variants and will be brewing our first hoppy beer soon. This whole idea gives us a new outlook to play around with as we sit here patiently waiting for all of our newly brewed Side Project beers to slowly mature...
