I think the last batch of Saison du Ble (FYI, Oude du Ble sold out day of release) lasted over two weeks at the same limit. I've also got my fingers crossed that it makes it to this weekend since I'll be heading down too!

 

Whoops, I meant Saison du Ble. Good catch.

Not sure if you will be in town Friday, but 4 Hands is having their anniversary party that night and they'll be tapping some pretty nice stuff, and selling bottles of their new beer "Courage."

We are getting into town on Friday. Maybe I can make that work. Thanks for the heads up! Madagascar is a beer I've been wanting to try for a long time!

 

Something noteworthy about Jammy was it's the first SP release I've been to where you could only get in line once. ID checks.


As far as the beer itself, it's good, but not my favorite.

 

I'm glad to hear they're moving to that for some releases. I've been to a few (I think Smooth, at least) where they've marked hands, but it definitely didn't stop some people from wiping the marker off and going through multiple times.

 

Easily the best release Ive been to at the new place. I really hope they keep the format. Having the line at the back and making you walk back around to the front door get in for beer at the bar was great. No crowded mess...I always stay for a beer, but usually leave soon after due to the clusterfuck. Was able to chill and drink quite a few this time around.

 

I didn't make it last night but we went today and had 2017 Madagascar and a couple other barrel aged party leftovers. Good call! Madagascar was amazing, really blown away.

 

The new brewery is amazing. Such a cool space. Also. Blown away by Vibes and Coffee Shop Vibes.

 

The only downside to the new brewery is I have to debate trying to take Monday off when we take a trip down so we can fully enjoy whatever is on the Sunday taplist!

I am very curious as to how this will work if a PN4 level turnout happens again, this isn't in the middle of "nowhere" like Perennial is
