These are great resources to keep current with what they are doing.

To answer your questions in a general sense, the do not do just limited releases, they do sell bottles from time to time at the brewery outside of these limited releases, and there is not a regular year round brew at this time. Some day, if all those damn people would stop showing up, there might be a regular year round brew.

Since the last reply was brief, let me be of additional help.

SP beers are all barrel aged and thus limited in production. Many of their sought after beers (Tete, Derivation, etc) are released and to go bottles sell out that day, although on site bottles may be available for consumption at the brewery or Cellar some time after. There are often (but not always) bottles of some SP need to go either at the brewery or the Cellar. They do not have year round beers, but some of the beers that spend less time I'm wood (Foedre, Grisette, Bier de Pays) are frequently available. Although you didn't ask, they are not distributed although the Wine and Cheese Place does sell some limited edition releases.

    Hope this helps

    C

Technically they're all limited edition since they're not constantly produced. At least IMO.

Thanks C. I decided not to ask distro since I kinda figured there wouldn't be or be very limited.
Great info. Hopefully I can trade for a few bottles in the future.

Love these Sunday releases. Makes it so much easier to figure out logistics of getting there.

Question to anyone out there that may know...are there not going to be any more Derivation releases at the brewery? Cory hasn't done that in a really long time to my knowledge. Seems like the only way to get those is thru the Wine and Cheese Place anymore?

Drink Derivation at the cellar when it is released?

In all seriousness, I don't think Cory is going to release a Derivation in a mass fashion any time soon. He wants people to enjoy his beer, not turn it for massive profit, and too many people see the beer with dollar signs in their eyes, and not as a hella good beer.

Yes, I drink it at the Cellar. But I also have family in Kansas City that I'd love to be able to share a special bottle with over the holidays. I've never once sold any beer I've bought for a profit. And there are tons of people out there like me that aren't trying to swap it for a profit.

If I remember correctly, there was a tweet or something in late Summer last year saying he just filled more Derivation barrels than 1-6 had total.

If there is ever a pre-announced Derivation release I suspect the level of muling, butthurt, and general douchebaggery that will occur would rival anything the world has ever seen. Not saying I wouldn't love some bottles though...

I doubt it will ever see a public release again. Perhaps TWCP again but never public. I know Paul procures barrels from their store picks for Cory on occasion and that's why he releases some of it there.
