Good lord... so much want, bucket list beer for sure. Obviously a long shot, but I hope this pops back up when I come out there in May.

    From Twitter:

"This Saturday, at noon at the Brewery, we release our barrel-fermented Flanders Red Ale, Open Spaces..."

I'm more excited for this than any beer SP has ever done.

I am also excited for this one. The intrigue was peaked, and my wallet cringed at the words "46 months".

Ah I wasn't sure. I love the style and am eager to try SP's interpretation of it. You don't see a ton of new Flanders type offerings out there (or at least good ones that is)

Did I hear right that Pulling Nails 6 is going for $35 out of the Cellar to go?

Man, I love Cory's beers and he's a heck of a nice guy, but the fact that he's starting to charge crazy prices and at the same time he shows such contempt for secondary sellers is really too much. PN5 was $33 and that was just a few months ago. I can't believe that the cost went up that much. I guess that's why it's still sitting there.

Wrong. Pulling Nails blend 5 was $35. I personally believe it's still sitting there like many of the other releases lately because he has been able to increase production (which has been awesome), not so much the price. Hundreds of people gladly bought 4 at the release.

Yeah, the line for PN6 was quite long, the limit was 4pp, and most people I saw walking away bought 4 bottles. They made a lot of PN6. Keep in mind that Cory has no flagship beer that is 50% of production that pays the bills for his experimentation. He doesn't get paid for months or years on all those barrels he fills.

Well I guess I got a deal then since I paid $33 at the cellar, to go.

IIRC, PN5 was $30, and PN6 was $35. Don't think anyone cares about that as it doesn't add anything to the conversation, so I will say this...

$30 for a bottle of beer that someone has been working on for 4 years is a pretty damn good deal in my opinion.

Pulling Nails blend 5 and 6 were both $35. You can check the Cellar's twitter for a picture of the board when PN5 went on sale for reference.
