Side Project (2018)

Total guess, but maybe like 500 bottles? It was a limit of 1, but some people were able to go back thru the line for a 2nd. Sold out in less than an hour.

 

I didn't have it (not a fan of sours), but rating was between 4.5 - 4.6 on Untappd.

 

500 bottles only? so not in the Evil Twin vast distribution network?

 

Side Project doesn't distribute. beers brewed in their brewery.

 

Hi there. I'm flying into St. Louis on Sunday afternoon -- is it unlikely that the bottles from the Saturday release will still be around?

Also, I'm looking to try a few of the bottles that are on-site only. Is there usually a good volume of people around (around 5pm) that I could potentially share with?

La Ruche is getting released at both the brewery and the cellar on Saturday. That's usually a good indication they have a lot and it won't sell out that day. Also have a Shared label DIPA they are releasing though I have no idea if that will sell out or not.

 

99.9% chance La Ruche will still be there

For what it is worth, during the Backpack Fashion Show tapping last night, they said that both La Ruche and Backpack Fashion Show will be for sale at both locations on Saturday (Only the Brewery is open on Sundays though). I would agree that Backpack Fashion Show would sell out before La Ruche. Keep an eye on Twitter!

I will be picking up as much as possible. It is hazy, juicy, and minimal bitterness.
FYI, La Ruche is to-go today as well for anyone interested.

Is there a limit on La Ruche? I can't seem to find it online

 

Saturday it was 6 per person each of La Ruche bottles and Backpack Fashion Show 4-packs.

 

How is the La Ruche? The description has me interested

 

Its a fantastic beer, but due to various reasons it won't get much hype. I think i'm going to stop in and grab a couple more myself

 

I'll have to get down to grab some. I love all of the "standard" SP beers just as much as the whalez (okay, maybe not quite as much but you get it)

 

SdF 4 to go on Saturday along with Cassis du Fermier (black currants/on site only)
