The SP website is for the cellar only, you have to follow twitter for the brewery. The brewery is also only open on weekends.

Can't wait to visit Wednesday for the first time. While I have only had one of their beers before, Cory is a big inspiration to me after listening to many interviews.

Its nice to know I may be able to take a couple bottles of la ruche home. It is especially nice to know cans of pilsner will more than likely be available too.

Quite possible you can easily find other drinkers at the cellar that will band together to purchase diff bottles so you can try more things.

I did this a few months or so ago. Walked up to 3 random people who had purchased an Anabasis and a Blackberry BdP. Asked if I could join if I bought a Jammy to share. Had a blast hanging with them and sharing. I think we even bought another bottle on-site after that.

Thanks. This is really good to know. Pretty much like DLD, sharing great beer with random strangers.

Don't know if Cory reads this thread anymore but, if so, I was just wondering if any more thought has gone into offering a Side Project society? I know in the past (a year or two ago) he mentioned that he was thinking about it.

There are like weekly releases, so that may be tough, but myself and others (and pretty much everyone I'm sure) would love to get in on some form of a SP society. Maybe something that covered the more limited, waxed releases?

    That'd be one sought-after membership....

Any membership where one wouldn't "have" to go up every weekend/Sunday and interrupt the kiddos baseball/softball games would be something the locals would pay a premium for, I'm sure. Interesting to see what a "white label" membership or a "reserve" membership would cost/offer. Pretty sure SP could charge virtually anything they wanted...they would get members...I can see the flood of people surmising as to what "makes sense" and @JPick just caused people to throw shit to the side to bring out calculators and a laundry list of best ideas.

If there's a membership to cover the "one offs" (i.e. Not BdP, SdB, etc that release new batches often) I will just throw my wallet at it.

The current release method is far better than a society. There have been, what, like two or three releases this year that required lining up at a specific time?

Most everything is available for at least a few days up to a week or more.

That's why I was specifically speaking to the limit of 1, wax top, harder-to-nab brews.

I agree with the poster above...would love to not "have" to miss time with the family on a Sunday to make the big beer releases.

That said, I do agree that the current release methodology (outside of a society) is probably as good as it could be. Don't have to line up hours early, it's on the weekend so you don't have to miss work to make it, etc, etc.

Although I would love a society membership, I'm sure the weekly bottle releases bring an insane amount of draft beer dollars into the business

Kind of surprised you'd be interested in a Side Project membership, based on the fact that you don't like sours. Oh wait, their sours have more trade value than Funky Wits.

And to beat you to the punch, I'm as much a Side Project fanboy as I am a Perennial fanboy.

I REALLY don't want to get into this with you again, but...they also make Anabasis, Derivation, Candles, etc. And yes, I would trade their high value sours (since I don't enjoy them) all day son!

Again, this is a trading website. And you even trade as I mentioned before. Why the hatred for trading?

How bout you stop being a douche and leave me out of your next posts?

I'm in town for the weekend, headed to SP Cellar on Friday (at least). What are the limits on the other bottles available (don't see that listed anywhere)? Looks like just SpontanFermier and La Ruche until Saturday. For the release Saturday, any sense of whether that will that be well attended and sell out or can we stop by whenever?

    Any info is appreciated!

Looks to be no limits stated on any of them but imagine it would be like 6 or 12(a case) per beer realistically; BdP b6 was released this past Saturday 8/26.

The last batch of Pulling Nails was available for a few weeks.

Basically any release they announce in advance seems to stick around for a while.
