I’ll be at Side Project on Friday if anyone wants to split bottles. Need some Fuzzy in my life.

I'm just really confused. They said you could order 2 with the same card just different people, but there wasn't a pick up name field. So I bought two with two different emails but both in my credit card name and I guess I'm out 40 bucks now?

I bought one for my girlfriend to pick up using my card but just put her info in the billing address. They won’t charge you for a beer you don’t get.

But if I did that then my card would get declined and I'd have a call from Chase wondering if I was being targeted for fraud. I already have the pending charges.

The recent tweets make it seem that as long as you have two people show up for two bottles you'll be fine

I used a Chase card for the purchase so we will see if i get any flack from them about it. The charges will most likely stay pending until you actually pick up the bottles and confirm a purchase.

Curious if anyone knows if Beer,Barrel,Time is a similar recipe to Derivation and similar barrels are used?

Yes, according to the SP blog.

"This barrel stock is the exact same stock that we pull from for the Derivations and all of our stouts. We have brewed eight different recipes now, aged them in a variety of barrels, and then always thoughtfully selected and blended to achieve our goals, whether it be Beer : Barrel : Time, a new blend of Derivation, or the yet-to-be-released Barrel-Aged Coffee Shop Vibes by Shared. Finally went to Side Project. We were getting Strange Donuts Saturday late afternoon and decided to stop in the Cellar for a beer since I hadn't been yet (I'm from 2 hours out of STL). I knew it was the anniversary party, so I figured it'd be crowded, but we barely got in the door. It was unbelievable packed. Since there was really nowhere to even stand and drink a beer, I decided to just get something to go. After a minute I realized I couldn't even get to the bar so we just left. How busy is it on a normal Saturday afternoon/early evening? I want to go some time, but definitely am not into that whole college house party vibe thing they had going on Saturday.

    It’s basically never that crowded.

It was my first visit to SP on Saturday also but I definitely did not get a college house party vibe. Crowded but very laid back. When 4:00 hit the bar area was crowded and within 5-10 everyone had a pour. Karen and the rest of the staff were very friendly. I thought 3 Candles was the best of the bunch.
