Any guesses as to how much longer apple brandy derivation and BA coffee shop vibes will be available for on-site consumption?

Considering a trip across the state and staying for a night. It would either be this or next weekend. Next weekend would be more likely and easier on my schedule.

 

Is Derivation 8 already gone from on-site? I saw the tweet they sent out saying it was available but I never saw it get added to the webpage cellar list.

 

D8 was in & out in a day (Saturday - the day before the BdF release). as far as I know, BA CSV has also been taken off the on-site list. AB Derivation seems to still be up though.

 

actually, the cellar still shows BA CSV as still being available for on-site. my bad.

 

Unless you are a huge fan of Apple Brandy, I would advise against a trip across the state if that is your ultimate goal.

 

If I know @Harrison8 , He will gladly make the trek for BACSV and only BACSV, even if he got a flat tire and got into 2 altercations along the way. AB Derivation will only serve as a bonus for him. Others beyond that are more +'s.

 

if you're going to trek for anything make it an on-site 35 years. that beer is amazing!

 

Good to know, although the trek would more so be for BACSV, and perhaps bringing home a crowler or two of Narrow Gauge. Maybe some 2nd Shift as well since our 2nd Shift selection this side of the state took a dive and never recovered.

Nailed it. BACSV is the goal, and as I've never had a single ounce of any Derivation brews, it would be a wonderful bonus.

FYI, Narrow Gauge won’t crowler anything they can, which is basically every IPA at this point.

 

Was not aware of this. Where do they sell their cans?

Should I make a cross-state visit, I'll want to return with some Narrow Gauge.

 

They sell it in their taproom. There's a fridge right when you walk in.
