Just saw it. Cory tweeted the Saison and SP tweeted the kriek.

 

Du Ble B4 was released yesterday. Pretty cool that it will last for a bit.

Technically a Perennial/Side Project collaboration. Perhaps not a "trendy" style but it sounds pretty good to me! Also the regular Irene will be out as well

 

Yeah, sounds really interesting. Hopefully I'll get a bottle to try. I think it's included in the Perennial membership as well.

 

Yup. One bottle of G'night Irene was included in the membership. Regular Irene was 1pp for 12$.

 

How was the beer?

 

How much was the BA version? Limit 1pp as well right?

 

I dont know. My SO picked up for me. She said BA version was sold out by the time she got there so im assuming it was released as well. They tweeted about its release.

 

I believe both were released to the public. As part of the membership, they decided to include it due to other bottles that may not be ready.

 

Does it taste good?

 

dang was hoping it would sell out. anyone try it yet?

 

Had both on tap. Irene was a solid BSDA with good dark fruit flavors. Good Night was a little more barrel than I think it needed. The red wine flavor wasn't that prominent, but the boozy oak was strong and washed out some of the dark fruit. All in all, I preferred the regular.

 

Had small pours of each this afternoon. I actually preferred the regular Irene for some reason but both were quite tasty. Lots of prune/raisin, with a little chocolate/coffee and astringency going on. Surprisingly drinkable and could have several in one sitting (not that its a great idea)
