Spoken like a double secret society member.

I’ll be at the cellar Friday night and the release Saturday with a bunch of top secret hill farmstead and Hudson valley brewing beers to share. Come say hi.

    Anyone want to share derivation?

SP two days in a row? If you are coming from out of town I'd suggest checking out some other places on Friday. Dont get me wrong, SP is awesome, but we have a lot of other stuff to offer too

BA Sump release at perennial on Friday. 2nd Shift, heavy riff, narrow gauge, ucbc, 4 hands, main and mill, Schlafly, modern, and others I can't think of in my slightly hungover state are well worth a visit. There are several offor near Manchester if you want to keep your stops geographically close. Also, since you mentioned the AB tour, I must say it's pretty cool. Regardless of who owns them now, there is still a lot of history. Much more entertaining than any craft brewery tour I've ever been on (craft brewery tours are boring and all the same IMHO)

What area are you staying in?

Actually, I am interested in visiting. I want to see their bottling line in action.

So side project has a secret society “La Coterie”. I Wonder how they decided who their favorite customers are? Based on purchases or ? Clearly they are the individuals who have been profiting off their bottles from the beginning based on his email that went out

You would think that if they are that beloved at side project then Cory would want them to come in, visit and drink the bottles on site in order to spend the most amount of time with these individuals

What do you mean by “clearly they are the individuals who have been profiting off of their bottles from the beginning based on his email that went out”? What email? Did someone get caught selling bottles that was in the cool kids club?

Yes, an email that has been circulating in online groups was sent out asking for proof that people still have their oude du fermier b2 bottles because they have been up for sale

I actually love side project and the way Cory conducts business so I will not be posting the email, I was just surprised when I heard about the secret group

Some people already traded theirs. Slippery slope I'd imagine.

I always thought this type of behavior was pretty despicable - similar to anyone that would bid on an item for a charitable auction only to turn around and profit from it. Pretty shitty.

I wonder if this is the first time Cory has raised any questions. Lots of "private" bottles have been given away and then appeared on secondary sites based on what I have read. I'd have started the witch hunt long ago, or found some way to try to track these bottles - maybe numbering them - to figure out who the culprits are.

I heard the culprits are to be rounded up and drawn & quartered in the brewery parking lot at the fuzzy release. Cory said they were closing the parking lot to allow for bottle sharing and a food truck but that's just a cover up.

Love it! I'm sure everyone was told not to resell the bottles they receive because they are in the "friends and family" club. I hope he catches the guy(s) and gives them the boot.
