    From the blog:

SAT, 3/17: The Release of SP/Angry Orchard Collaboration BURK!

Along with some delicious Sour Week "leftovers" probably flowing on draft at The Cellar, the FINALE of Sour Week is the release of Burk! Our dear friend Ryan Burk is the Head Cider Maker at Angry Orchard, where he focuses on barrel-aged ciders. He came to St. Louis in 2016 and brewed a collaboration with us at Side Project.

Burk debuted at our Beer Dinner with VISTA in February. It is an Oud Bruin-inspired Missouri Wild Ale fermented with and aged with New York Crabapples in French Oak Pinot Noir Puncheons. It will be available TO GO at Both Locations at Open! Plus, Ryan Burk and Cory King will be around at the Brewery from 12 to 3pm on Saturday, March 17th, to drink beer with you and talk about the collaboration!

By chance, I am arriving in St Louis on Saturday with my family. If I go to the brewery in the afternoon, is there any prospect of buying a bottle of Fuzzy? I would go earlier if I could, but I am confident I cannot convince my wife that the first thing we should do upon landing is line up for beer with our 3 year old and 7 month old!

if you're going to be showing up late your best bet is the cellar as they open at 1 (compared to the brewery at noon) but I'd say slim chance at either place if you're showing up at like 3:00.

on another note, allocation is always based on turn out. if you are in line by open (I suggest a little sooner though) you should get a bottle. that goes for cellar too. so no need to wait in line for 4+ hours.

The blog post said the base was in a foedre and used 2.5k pounds of peaches. I extremely doubt it's going to sell out Saturday.

Yeah man...there are some greedy fucks that visit Side Project. Back when DBD was released, the first 100 or so wrote our names on a sign up sheet...Cory said later that it had been planned to allow those people to buy a to go bottle of DBD...he found that some people on the list had written in other names of people that weren't there so he scrapped the idea....I think that's why Derivation became an on-site only beer for the majority.

Either that or when some D-bag tweeted out D1 and D2 for sale minutes after buying it.

If your wife is a superstar, drop her off at the zoo(it is free), go wait in line, and pick her back up/meet her once you get your bottles. Zoo to Cellar is about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Thinking about visiting the cellar on the Friday of sour week. How crazy does it normally get for this kind of event? Would we be able to try jammy/leaner if we got there an hour or two late?

I'll be there today for the release. Anyone want to split some bottles?
