Anyone know what the markup is on the bottles in the cellar. I'm from Chicago and I'm not sure how much its going to cost me to visit. I was hoping Beer Barrel Time would last until spring break but its gone now... Does anyone have examples for their great stouts or Sours? Looks to me like the list shrunk after the Fuzzy release.

It’s usually $5 but I think some higher priced bottles are $10. Fuzzy was $20 to go and is $25 onsite. Quetsche du Fermier is $45 onsite. It never was released to go, but I’m pretty sure all fruited Ferms have been $35 to go. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

And they went to a case limit at two locations a block apart why? What was the point of having a large batch and starting limits at 4pp?

When they raised it to case it was all people just re-going through line anyway

I went to the brewery and got the 4 bottle allocation first, we then got in line at the cellar. After over an hour in line Karen came out and told us they were out and to go back to the cellar, where it was a case limit. So we went over there and waited 20 minutes for that.

Not the best run release but it wasn't too bad.

I was a little annoyed about the case limit, mainly because they had sold out by the time I could get there on Sunday. I can't really blame side project though, with new releases seemingly every weekend they've got to make room!

Speaking of new releases, the shared/NG collab "cruising gravel" releases today

I am not close to St Louis, and never am able to travel to releases - so this only affects me tangentially. -I am just not a big fan of trying to sell everything out same day and allowing multiple trips through the line/multiple locations. It artificially limits the supply and encourages shitlording. Not a fan of that behavior. -And for some reason, despite the fact that people can go through multiple times, or in this case where limits were raised - the only thing that ever seems to hit trade boards is "limit was X/person." Frustrating.

No mention of Burk yet? No one locally is really talking about it either. I'm guessing a lot of us skipped it after BA Sump and Fuzzy last week .I wonder if it's any good.

It is late march though so Pitter Patter should be up soon.

Any chance this doesn’t sell out today? My MIL is in STL visiting but I can’t send her today, not with the tomfoolery (and the size of the crowd really) that’s sure to take place.

If the choice is slim or none, I'd bet on none.
