To each their own, but the one I did last year was 100% inside. And I don't remember free pours of anything...?

Maybe Oude Ferm Grand Cru was available.

The first party had nearly everybody outside, so no idea which one you went to.

I definitely want to say they had some sour as a welcome pour then two things on tap outside.

I didn’t either but snagged one because it was reasonably priced. 750 ml @ $32 feels like a steal these days :joy:

BBT packages will be just BBT and Continuance 6. Guess after the packages sat and sat last year they took the hint. lol

I assume LC will still get a shot at single bottles as well? Or is that a dubious assumption on my part?

    I hope it's a true assumption.

Since everyone would get the chance at a single bottle, and these are both the styles of beer LC tends to gravitate towards, I’m not entirely convinced we will get the opportunity to buy a single bottle of each. I’d prefer that, but I also won’t be hurt if not. I want both bottles, and while I would probably buy more BBT over continuance (no word on contents yet of course), if I have to buy them in pairs, this is leagues above all other packages by a country mile.

That said, unless we get the chance to buy multiples of each bottle individually early, I do hope we get the opportunity to buy packages early. This is essentially the Best Buy of the year - it would be nice to be able to buy 2 or 3 packages (total) without fear of missing out during the public sale.

I guess when I said "bottles" I meant single bottle of each. But I'm just asking - I don't know what to expect.

Well that's the other thing - if we're allowed multiple packages, getting a single bottle is irrelevant - I'd be 2/3 packages and just be done - that's fine by me.

Given how much BBT there seemed to be last year, I just assumed there'd be plenty, but again, it might be a dubious assumption.

I guess no glass in the package this year - not the end of the world, but just an observation.

Label approval on 10/01 for a new product by the name of Verdant. Only info specified was style listed as "Ale". Curious if this will be a new canned offering or a new wild ale

Anyone wanna take some guesses as to what Continuance 6 is gonna be? Or what you would like it to be?

I've personally been dying to get a blend of different types of barrels in a barleywine. That or a stout/barleywine blend with maybe a thoughtful addition of adjuncts. I had Moksa Conflation recently which is a stout/BW blend with Vanilla and I would love to see something like that from SP

Thinking it might be the D6 Strong Ale based on the wax color. Cinnamon, Cocoa Nibs, and Vanilla.

after having intrepid observation late last year or earlier this year i would love to see SP take a stab at that. basically continuance b1 with a vanilla bean addition.

    I hope it's just a non-adjuncted BW blend; would be a good partner for a non-adjuncted stout
