Not sure, I haven’t had it this year. I got it last year and was underwhelmed so I didn’t get it this year. And I just don’t want to spend money on 750s that aren’t barrel aged lol

I do, but B2 and onward were over the top with it. Coconut is a hard one to get right, but that's just my taste and observation.

Drank D20 last night and thought it was great. It seemed very chocolately but in a good way.

This year’s Anniversary Blend was aged for 23 months in Willett 4-Year Bourbon barrels, then infused with 12 unique vanilla varieties: Congo, Madagascar, India, West Indonesia, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania Kilimanjaro, Costa Rica, Vanuatu, Ecuador, Mexico, and Papua New Guinea.

How much nilla is too much nilla, not very thoughtful ...

Same! Finally got to crack a D20 this weekend.

Very dessert-y but in a more subtle and balanced way than your average pastry-adjacent stout, for sure. Not a ton of barrel, but a good interplay between the cocoa flavors of the base, and the honey and almond butter with a hint of vanilla. We all enjoyed it and I'm hoping to bust out another bottle around Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Also just to quickly return to my Cellar Tenth stout conspiracy (this is the last time I'll bring it up, I swear!) ... I got to reassess one of those this weekend....

...and I'm now even more convinced that there was something wonky with the Cellar glassware on release day. It was one of my favorite malty beers in a long weekend of beer sharing, which also included D20 and 12-Year Barleywine (also both excellent beers), and my bottle of BBT '23 that was pouring a little more lackluster than I'd hoped.

The Cellar Tenth has what I'd call a tinge of smokiness and some deeper barrel flavors — but I'm still getting way more rich chocolate notes, a little bit of nuttiness, and even a bit of cherry on top. It was drinking more like a rye and bourbon-y hot fudge sundae than a cigar box, to me anyway.

We used glasses that were as similar as possible to the Cellar's tulip-shaped tasters — so if anyone else out there still has a bottle of the Tenth stout, crack it soon and lemme know if I'm crazy, or what!

This one is in my cellar - haven't opened it yet - and I haven't tried it - will move it up the priority list.

anyone try this years Oude Fermier yet? It's historically been one of my favorite saisons anywhere and clearly the best saison that SP makes but I haven't heard a single word about it
