I usually don't go for the sweet beers either (and had to have RL on site, so no bottles to trade) but I loved it. I def only needed the 4oz I got, but it was like cookie dough, and man - just took me back to licking the spatula as a youth. I agree with the takes the MM was too much cinnamon for me, and DD just wasn't my speed at all. TM was magnificent. I have to reserve judgment on CK, because I had it when I shouldn't have still been drinking. TM>RL>MM>DD - jury out on CK for me.
I find that temperature is the most important thing with the sweeter stouts. RL was incredibly sweet at first sip and incredible at the end of the glass after it hit close to room temperature
What’re everyone’s thoughts on MM Persona that tried it? That one looks the most interesting of the lot to me.
They could bundle RL with 5 of every wild ale in the shop and someone would still buy it. Missed opportunity.

The funny part is by now most of these IP releases are high to no limit and if you have any local friends its a pretty easy mule situation, heck you could have got all of them besides RL on the last day still.
Yeah these Persona's were all effectively no limit. Some of them had temporary limits, at opening, to make sure that everyone who was lined up had the opportunity to get some (RL was an example of this) — but after it was deemed that the line had run through, the limit was removed. And yep, all but the RL were still available to-go through the beginning of this week. Can confirm; they were all $50 each.
