First LC 2026 beer is Gourmand. Collab with Xul & Other Half. Vanilla, truffles, salt, and “caviar”.

Yeah, better team won. Hopefully it’s an Illinois vs Michigan final.

It’s actual caviar and not vanilla caviar.

I got one from OH when it dropped a couple weeks ago. I thought it'd be an interesting one to crack at dark lord day. Now I'll be out done by the SP bottle.... Blast!

I am spending $40 for a beer I am pretty sure I will not like.

So my question is: is it celler-able? I know I’ve heard that certain adjuncts such as coffee are better drank sooner than later, but caviar, black truffles and vanilla? Better with time? Curious…

From experience The stamped shelf life on packaged , which is what i assume they used,Black Truffles is not trustworthy and its usually ~16months.
I wouldn't age that beer more than 24 hours

If it was fresh truffle then why age it more than 30 minutes?

What is this supposed to taste like?

The Veil did one years ago called Eternal Slumber: Opulence and it had caviar and truffles in it. Five years ago is was amazing, but now the review tell a different story.

So many people saying they are buying...to trade or already assume they won't like....

    If you buy it....try it!

8th state did a caviar beer and tbh it tasted like chocolate milk. It faded fairly quickly...so I'd drink it now.

I will absolutely try it. I do not eat mushrooms or caviar so I am expecting the worst. I am excited to try it though.

I live in Fishers, just north of Indianapolis, and I am attending the Zwanze Day at SP and would be willing to be a proxy if anyone in central Indiana needs one.

Other half already released their version weeks ago. Go check out the reviews. Most people didn't mind it and any brine flavor imparted by the caviar was light

I tell ya what, seeing a beer with caviar in it helps to alleviate the fomo.

I missed the vintage sale today. Was there anything noteworthy?
