Anyone have any experience aging this beer? I realize they haven't been making it for a long time, just curious.

Fyi, I have had it before, wouldn't even think of cellaring a beer I've never tried. ; )

I had SdB batch 1 about 6 months ago, so it was 3+ years old. That was good! Tart, bright and funky and not too sour. I dont think it was designed to age much beyond that point tho.

Some other Aged SP stuff I've had (PN3, PN4) turned way too sour over time, so that could be a risk maybe for certain batches of SdB? I'm not sure.

Opened up Batch 2 and Batch 3 side by side about a month ago. Both were more tart, funky, and lemony than when fresh. They also both lost the soft and pillowy feel that you expect from the beer. Definitely enjoyed both.

I have batch 4-5-6 I'm planning on doing a vertical of in October so I'll see how that goes side by side! Other that that i agree with pdxambassador, any more than 3 years for this style may be pushing it. Cheers
