Damn, it looks like I'm going to be about a week late on a couple of these releases as I'm coming out next week to St. Louis from San Diego. If anyone wants to trade for something from Modern Times (Theory member) please PM me. I'll be able to meet up on Tuesday night at Cellar.

I wouldn't be surprised if they still have plenty of Smooth when you get in town. Lots of good stuff on the to go list right now, definitely don't pass on La Ruche or Grapefruit Bdp.

Chances on silent release this weekend on sour week?

 

Smooth was announced, so I'm not sure how many times they've done a silent release along with an announced release.

 

Creature Comforts collab releasing this Saturday at the brewery...a “barrel-aged farmhouse-inspired pale ale.”

What will line/demand be like for this one?

 

Definitely hard to predict. I can tell you it's over the bar as opposed to out of the garage and also available at both locations so read into that what you will.

 

What’s the significance of that? Sorry don’t know SP release system

 

releases where they expect a huge turnout typically get sold out the back garage to leave the tasting room open to those ordering draft & on-site bottles. also, more limited releases usually just get sold at one location (Brewery tasting room) as opposed to both the tasting room and the cellar.

 

I think this beer sounds wonderful, but due to style kind of doubt it draws a huge crowd.

*if it was aged in whisky barrels I wouldn’t be so excited to try it, just can’t get down with hops and spirits

 

Any info on allotments or how much of that Creature Comfort collab is left?

 

4 per person !! Looked like plenty leftover after 3 pm today no lines at all most of the time only about 40 at opening

Wondering if you guys can help me out with this — my timeline might be off about last year...
Was anybody expecting the coffee crawl beers to be around, erm, for the Coffee Crawl? I’m a consumer, not a producer, so I don’t know if there was anything to glean from the “CC/D11” post a week or so ago, but I sure thought I remembered those popping up that weekend last year.

 

So according to the website it appears a Framboise du Fermier Blend 3 has snuck onto the on-site list at the cellar

 

that’s extremely odd. blend 2 released not all that long ago (in SP terms)...August i think?
