It was unlimited at the brewery when I was there. There was also a low turn out because of the rain.

Anyone enjoy a bottle onsite care to share their thoughts? Have high hopes for this one.

    Cheers!

Overall a wonderful beer. Had components of lemon, funk, and tartness. The flavor and mouthfeel struck me as a bit different than many other SP wild ales. I would say better than many of the their selfies (although I love BdP), but not on the level of Tete, Vintage 2014, Reflections 3/25/17, or Oude Fermier. If you are on the fence about chasing one down I wouldn't second guess it. It is worth it.

Pretty tough weekend for me to make this work logistically, especially since I’m coming for an extended stay next week for the cellar anny but where there’s a will, there’s a way!! Lol

It’s probably the best Derivation IMO

I drove from Minneapolis to STL last January since the bar I work at is closed for the first week of the year. I definitely said multiple times that it was cheaper for me to do that and have DBD/D10/Anabasis on site then it would be to buy them on secondary lol. Even with gas and airbnb in the equation.

I second that! Best Derivation IMO. 10-hours one way....maybe not. Round trip...no problem. Or you can push your trip back 1-week for the anniversary party where you can try 4-, 5-, and 6-candles in a block party setting. Decisions decisions..

Sadly the anniversary party happens to fall on FOBAB which I'm working. Which also cuts out attending the BBT vertical the Friday night before. Thus, thinking this derivation trip would be even more worth it from that perspective. Well see....gotta convince the wife ha

Its 1 pp on site right guys?? So bringing your partner will have definite benefits.....ha....

This is on site starting at the cellar Friday at 3.....they shouldn't be out of bottles if people like myself dont get there till 9 or so.....correct? Then Saturday both locations will have onsite bottles??

They didn’t say but would assume 1pp like with D11. They won’t run out.

I am not sure of the 1pp limit, partially because I have never needed more than 750mL of any one beer, even Derivation. The cellar opens 1pm on Friday. If this derivation release is anything like D11 they should be well stocked all weekend. Everyone who came for D11 during the release weekend got to try it. Take your time getting there.

Just curious, would people order 2 or 3 bottles to drink on-site by themselves if they could? This is fascinating to me.
