some release they do “over the bar” which would be inside the brewery tasting room where you would normally order a draft or bottle to drink on-site and other releases they do out of the back garage door of the brewery.

Great timing for me to be coming up and celebrating my 35th bday at Side Project.

Coffee Shop Vibes is one of my favorite beers ever!

Thinking about driving down Saturday, anyone know about what time you would need to be there to score a bottle?

 

typically as long as you’re there by 11:15 - 11:30, you should be included in the count.

 

It's not going to sell out at open. Almost nothing has sold out same day in the past two years. Especially the past year.

 

If you are there at open (noon) you are included in the count and the allotment is determined.

You don't want to run into the guy with the counter. He'll eat your soul if you cross him. Which is quite tame compared to when Cory has the counter.

 

Cory's wife is pretty ferocious. My fiancee and I were at the bar for most of the BBT b2 release at The Cellar, and I thought she was going to snap a few peoples' heads when they tried to scam the place for extra Coconut Vibes b2 bottles... and rightly so in all cases. She was great when on your side when chatting and joking, but man... if a douchebag was within sight/proximity, she sniffed that tool out and shamed him out of the place. Was great to watch.

 

Karen poured first 3 people in line for 2nd Coffee Crawl a bottle of Balaton when they got to the bar. Yay Karen!

i was at the cellar that day...i do not recall all that going down. perhaps i left before it started. were they trying to use fake tickets or what??

 

There was a group of 3 people that got multiple allotments of Coconut Vibes b2 by trying to game which bartender was servicing them. She somehow spotted them and then called them out, and made them return the bottles (and also nicely enough she refunded them), before she had them leave.

There was also another table of probably 6+ people close to the restrooms that were doing something reeeallly shady. She came over and called them out, before they left too. I'm convinced all those parties were guilty because none of them argued back, and they basically obliged to her requests and left. My fiancee and I kept commending her for being able to spot such shady behavior. I don't have that kind of an eye for those things.
