D11 on-site today at the cellar. Tip of my cap for any of you who went to the fest Sunday and are ready to drink more stouts, lol.

That was probably the one thing I was hoping for at the fest that wasn’t available. If was still down there would be all over it (though I was hurting like hell Sunday night).

 

No one outside the cellar as of 1:30. Decided to pregame at The Crow’s Nest with a Busch and then I’ll check back.

 

Are people lining up for day 1 of stout week?! D4 is also popping up on the online menu

 

Gosh damn it.

That’s one of the 3 Derivations I need to tick (2, 4 & 5). Too bad I’m 3.5 hours away or I would power thru it

 

Very chill today. About 20 people here at open. Started with a Snowy, D4 and D11. Split a Maple and Quetsche bottle 4 ways. On pour 2 of D11. I can see D4 and D11 both lasting until tomorrow. Good times!

 

What a time to be alive!

 

D11 kicked a few minutes past 8 o’clock. I got back from stuffing my face at Gus’s and got one of the last pours. D4 still going. It’s good, but pretty faded.

 

I was going to post that exactly - by itself it's a good beer, but aside a D11 there was no comparison. Very chill tap room - nice crowd, but not crowded.

 

I got there at 8 to grab a couple bottles of maple for a bud and was surprised to see D4 and 11 still going, I opted for a 4. It’s awesome that vibes is still for sale too

 

Did you end up making it through until close?

 

Does anyone know the pricing of the Invitational glasses they posted for sale at the Cellar yesterday? Last thing I need is more glassware, but those are really slick.

Also interested in the price of the CSV camp mug and the gold logo light bulb t-shirt.

I was thinking about posting a breweriana trade, but wanted to have the specifics before I did.

The mug is $25. Not sure on the others. The Invitational glass is slick, really slick.

Sounds similar to the consensus here.

 

The only thing I was disappointed in was never getting to try the second Veil/SARA beers since the first ones never blew.

 

Last night Karen said they would find a time to tap the leftovers from the Invitational in the coming days/weeks. She mentioned that they would donate the proceeds to charity and just needed to work out timing.

 

I like the look of those glasses, but I could easily see my drunk-ass breaking that shit at a share... Or some other drunk-ass breaking that shit... LOL

BA Coconut Vibes needs more barrel and is a bit sweet, but that's just me being picky.
Never more than 40 people here - all good people - great time! (and my wife thinks my job sucks)
