Does anyone care about RateBeer rankings? Great for SP to get the #2 ranking, but some of these rankings are questionable at best. AleSmith #6 in the world? Trillium #3? Cycle #19? I guess regardless, Kudos to SP!

 

Those were kind of my thoughts when I was reading through them. Cool, but whatever. I think for the most part I can tell the difference between hype and quality on my own anyway. Plus rating this stuff is so subjective too.

 

Anyone have any info on Coex Purple? seen pics on ig & ut...looks to be a 375mL and possibly a blend of SP & dG beers similar to Floue Floue. members only? any available on-site?

 

Collaboration with De Garde brewing.

A blend of Side Project Coexpressionalism Framboise (red raspberries) and de Garde The Purple (black raspberries).

No word about release or to whom it will be released.

 

i feel like it’s been released in some fashion if there are untapped check-ins, but haven’t seen word one from either SP social media accounts regarding it.

 

cheers! those literal mashups of their beers are interesting. i finally tried Floue Floue back in December at the brewery anniversary party and it was really good.

 

I cannot handle these SP instagram teasers. Unlabeled bottles getting a white wax treatment. Also I feel lost with the cellar closed this week...

 

Probably Coeur de cuvee? The bottle on the right looks like a 375ml but left looks like 750 O_O

 

Hanging out a newer brewery in Milwaukee tonight and was talking with the guy working the bar about living in STL. I mentioned SP and he goes I think someone brought something in from them. Bottle of Maple in the Wood sitting in their cooler.

I was trying out vennture, handnt been there yet since they opened after I moved.

 

I was out there for the first time in 6 months - just happened to coincide with the Cellar being closed - so frustrating.

 

Per IG story I’m assuming Tete 15, BBT and OWK will be available when the Cellar reopens tomorrow. The FOMO has slightly dissipated after getting invited to the club, but hot damn you locals have it so good!

2020 is going to be a great year for SP. That current togo list is insane and I’m expecting a lot of fantastic releases this year. The beers, the experience when visiting, just the whole vibe... these guys are on a level of their own.

 

I’m pretty sure those are just pictures hanging on the wall of the cellar now, not that they’ll have them tomorrow.

Dangit! I hate that you are right. I totally thought they were teasing all those beers! I was already figuring out how to get out of work early to get to the cellar.
