<----- Soon to be one. Not renewing my double membership to Perennial.

Just not seeing the value out of the membership - going to focus exclusively on LC. I would guess I'm not alone in this sentiment - there is nothing that Perennial produces that you otherwise wouldn't be able to trade SP bottles for anyways (and the same would not necessarily be true the other way around).

Too many offerings out of the 14 bottles that I'm simply not interested in.

 

Make that at least two. It's just a cost issue. I don't have unlimited funds for beer and a membership that you pay ahead and don't even want some of the bottles doesn't make sense for me. I much prefer a membership that I can pick and choose what I want.

 

Based on the above, and other sentiments I’ve heard, I sorta wonder if there will be a mass exodus from Perennial this year. They still make some solid stuff, but it’s not at the level it once was, and yes, half of the 14 bottles are not even ones that most people are interested in. I think my group is dropping their 4 memberships.

That said, I’m sure they’ll have no problem finding takers if they go back to market with freed up memberships.

 

did they even preview what was in the pipeline for next year? Blue ridge b2 would be great to hear

 

So beyond BAA and Maman....what bottles did people enjoy?

 

Anniversary Blend was great. Hearing the member bottle is great.

 

I loved the member bottle and I was a big fan of BA Fantastic Voyage this year. 2019 was a mess, but I really enjoyed the 2020 version.

While I'm sure the Side Project/Shared team is glad you enjoyed this year's BA Fantastic Voyage...did you meant to post this in the Perennial thread?

 

just responding to people asking what they enjoyed about perennial lineup last year. also, I've never been a member, just a proxy for multiple people but I've always been able to get what I want w/o the membership. I much prefer the way SP does it where you pay as you go for what you want, especially in uncertain times. Main and Mill does their membership the same way, except they dont release beer anymore apparently.

I tied it all back to SP, boom.

 

I'm sure there are reasons not to reveal price until the last min, but I do wish they would add the package details before it drops. The last thing I need is more Grisette.

 

Remember when BACSV dropped and it wasn’t a package? That was nice.

Seems like from now on all stout and barleywine packages will be in the $100-$130 range.
