Side Project / Shared (2020)

Perennial, 2nd Shift, and Narrow Gauge all are doing curbside to go sales. Plenty of others in St Louis too. Rockwell, Bluewood, 4 Hands, Heavy Riff I believe all are. I think The Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton is doing curbside.

 

Some Shared cans should be ready any time now. Maybe you’ll get lucky there

 

What’s a beer influencer?

 

There are two distinct types. The female type where it doesn’t matter what beer you’re posting as long as you look hot in the post. The other is the male type where your disposable income to buy local ammo to trade for whales or travel to go to whale releases is all that matters. The males don’t include themselves in the posts, do it doesn’t matter if they are hot or not.

Batch 1 was/is my #1 SP beer of all-time. Batch 2 was good, but not great, Batch 3 I thought paled in comparison to the first 2. Here's hoping this batch reverses the trend.

 

Man, I thought blend 2 whipped the pants off blend 1. To each his own!

 

blend 2 is my favorite by quite a bit. b1 on draft at the invitational was hoppy and weird.

 

B1 is also like 5 years old at this point

 

OK now I'm second guessing myself. I don't do Untappd so I may be mistaken. The Anabasis I remember as being amazing sounds more like Batch 2? Hoppy would not be what I remember at all. The one that was amazing was almost like a hybrid Stout/BW with the best mouthfeel I've ever experienced from a BW (Deal With the Devil was the most similar that I can recall) and it had just an amazing lingering caramel cutting into the vanilla and char of the barrel that wasn't over the top and just perfectly nuanced. Whichever it was, more like that and less like Batch 3 would be awesome.

 

That was Blend 2...

 

There was some confusion at first but date on the keg was Blend 2*

 

But I checked into Anabasis b1...

As far as tasting notes I agree that it was oxidized and a bit hoppy.

So which was it??

 

I can assure you, it was batch 2.

 

anybody know if all the bottle packages that are on site now are correct and dropping?

 

Those are packages that were sold previously so probably just a glitch causing them to reappear.
