Source of the bottle count?

 

Since it let you select how many you wanted (despite being 1pp), if you type in a stupid high number, it'll return "Sorry, only ___ of that available." If you do it at the beginning, you'll know how many they started with.

I happened to see it go live very close to start (I was actually checking to see how many cans were left). I didn't actually grab a bottle, but tried to order 2000 bottles. The system stated that I could only add 778 to my cart. I assumed few people had a chance to check all the way out at that point, but maybe no one had yet as it was before my IG notification.

 

i accidentally typed in 2 when i meant to order 1. I didn't even see the IG post until after that there was a 1 pp limit. Any chance you think they'll let me just be refunded for the 1 for screwing up?

As always, grats to those who got a bottle. Bummed I missed out on this one. I was fast enough to get get it in my cart, lol.

 

I quickly snagged one then went back to the post and saw it was 1pp, glad I didnt try for more.

It seems to me like all of these more limited releases are selling out in 2 minutes. It basically comes down to how quickly you get the notification after the sale announcement is posted, and luck.

 

Right shouldn't it automatically limit how many you can buy? Plenty of other online order forms have a drop down for max allowable.

 

if you’re trying to score a bottle after the IG post has been sent out (even one second after), you’re going to need every ounce of luck in the known universe.

 

I didn't even read the post, just pulled up the page and it was sold out. Went back to read the post and 4 minutes had already passed. Guess I'm fucked on all these releases.

 

Then why even post it to IG then if there's virtually no chance of scoring a bottle?

 

I always count myself lucky when I get a Side Project bottle.

 

If posting to IG helps them sell out faster, it would be silly not to. It stinks that not everyone got a bottle (myself included), but they're a business, and this is efficient and profitable.
