Alright, everyone. I need you to let that Oude Ferm last until I get there Thursday.

 

Sat at the Cellar bar for a couple hours today. Not exaggerating, I think everyone but two people started with at least one Brooklyn Vibes. I would be shocked if that keg lasts more than a couple days.

 

Going to visit in a couple of weeks and I was wondering how the uber/lyft situation was in St. Louis. There are a shortage of drivers in Southern California and I was wondering if it was the same in STL. Also, has the Cellar been at capacity during the weekends? How has the wait been to get in on the weekends? It looks like some posts have said about an hour wait during certain times.

 

No issues with Uber/Lyft.

 

I got there around 130 Saturday (30 minutes after open). There were 5+ open single seats. It might be slightly tougher right now with 4-6 people to get a table inside. People came and went, and there was no wait for the couple hours that I was there. Outside had 10-15 tables (maybe more?) and only 2-3 tables were being used at a time when we went outside for a pour as our group had grown.

Service was just as excellent as always, maybe even better than usual. I believe they had 5 employees behind the bar. It was great to be back.

No uber/lyft issues that I noticed.

 

Awesome. Going there this weekend. Can’t wait!

My goodness, the Cellar isn’t playing around since re-opening!

 

I hear that. I got the last bottle of coex kriek today and was ecstatic, only to miss out on shared ambiente. I had an incredible time, spent too much money, and still wanted more.

 

Maybe I missed it, but hadn't seen it posted anywhere...pleasantly surprised to find Continuance on draft at the Cellar today.

 

MJK, Floue Floue, Parfait, Ambiente on cask, Bleuet du Fermier, and Anabasis B3. Today was a good day at the cellar.

 

Was really impressed with the draft pour of Parfait from the cellar yesterday. Incredibly creamy and rich. Fingers crossed for a successful online release this week!

 

theories on why an imperial stout and an IPA would get an online release but a Czech Pils wouldn’t??
