I’ve been having some issues with IG. Not sure if that is where this info is coming from. Anyone able to fill the rest of us in?

 

Narrow Gauge collab Terminus. Two different willett barrel-aged Stouts one Rye one bourbon. 375ml $50. One each to the Coterie with the option to buy a package of the Rye with crusher. No limits on the package.

 

i paid $40 per 375mL bottle and my package came with one bourbon BA Terminus and one crusher…

All these years wishing for SP stouts in 375ml bottles only to have them sold for $40-60 each..

Hello to our Side Project Family!

We have some exciting beer news to share! Our good friends at The Wine and Cheese Place are celebrating their 40th Anniversary, and Cory and the brewers have made two beers just for this occasion, Merci 40 and For TWCP.

The sale of these beers will come as a 2 bottle package and will be released through TWCP's online shop next Wednesday, 9/21 at 10 AM CST. We wanted to give you, our amazing customers, a heads up on this sale as it will only be sold through The Wine and Cheese Place and not through our online store.

A Note from Cory:

Our goal with Merci 40th Anniversary Blend was to bring back characteristics of one of our favorite Merci blends - specifically blend #2 when we used the enhanced complexity of our funkier, more wild, wild ale base and then softened that with selected oak barrels of Oude Fermier. For the 40th Anniversary blend, with this concept in mind, we pulled together pieces that include a funky wild ale base from our Coexpressionalism-inspired stock, a puncheon which held Blended 2017 and a puncheon of Oude Fermier which was uncharacteristically more Brett-forward than we normally see. This lovely puncheon was beautiful and incredibly unique, and it provided the last attribute to the final blend for a beer that we anticipate will age as gracefully as Merci Blend #2.

For TWCP falls in line with our other "For" beers - a beer blended exclusively for a friend for their anniversary. When first brewed, this was the first time we had used almonds in a beer. The flavor of almonds is very hard to extract while using only natural ingredients (no extracts were used in this beer, only real, slivered almonds), so we experimented with "overdosing" the initial beer with almonds and Ghanan Cocoa Nibs and then allowed it to rest in the barrel to soften and develop. After aging, we assessed whether or not it would need to be back-blended; however, we loved the profile that had evolved and then finished the final beer on a heavy dose of Tahitian Vanilla Beans to pull it all together. This eight-malt beer rested in Blanton's Bourbon barrels for 20 months before blending and bottling and determining it was ready to share with you.
