Even BBT 375ml at $40 each would be a hair under 35% markup from a 750. Is that a little upcharge? That smaller bottle and label cost $20?

You know pricing is out of hand when you see even some of the most hardcore fanboys starting to voice their displeasure.

SP has great beer, but it doesn’t even matter anymore. Too expensive to drink except for when they’ve occasionally got the goods on tap.

On a different note, I wouldn't be sad if they released Coffee Shop Vibes to go during the BBT pickup window.

    CSV is definitely long overdue.

At this point, I think I'd be 'out' on BBT if the package hit $200 for an equal amount of BBT at past years.

BBT is fantastic, and one of my favorite beers period, but $200 is a tough level to justify for me. Last year's first run (half year) of a local brewery's BA membership cost me less than that and I got 7 (?) solid BA beers out of it in a half year. None may be BBT level, but they're still great, and no package BS.

BBT and SP are both great. But there are a lot great breweries out there anymore making awesome beers. It’s easy to find alternatives and pick and choose what to buy. I’ve definitely slowed on SP and started buying more stouts from other breweries.

@jmlhd7 split the next batch of CSV up and age on two different beans and sell them as mixed 2pks of 16oz cans…?

Exactly. I'd rather have 6-7 stouts / barleywines ranging from a "B" to "A-" grade, rather than 1-2 that are "A" to "A+".

That's not to say I won't try to make it to St. Louis one weekend out of the year to enjoy some pours. But that's a much different experience vs. having bottles to choose amongst on a Sunday.

    I support this.

I’m 100% all in with this idea. But I’ll take one step further. 4 packs of 12oz cans, 2 of each. But gimme either.

I was referring to we've only seen green labels/wax for the DB Mizunara Derivation check-ins. Looks like we have others coming if there are alternative label colors.

Did people actually think they were doing multiple color labels/wax for a single beer?

I wish I wasn’t such a fan boy. Ended up at the cellar today… didn’t want to mess with the crowd tomorrow. I loved baby MJK (continuance 3). Thanks for the fist bump!
