    that bottle held up much much better than the draft pour I had from the brewery anniversary.

    coconut fallen off for sure but the barrel seemed prevalent as ever.

    Had keg pours of La Fosse b1 and For Gabe and they are nothing like the bottle version.

    Had La Fosse b1 week before the keg and it was one of the best beers I’ve had all year. It wasn’t even as much of a flavor as much as a mood; reminded me of my childhood going to my grandmas house having apricots. However, the keg was sour and nothing like the bottle I opened. The keg flavors weren’t balanced and I couldn’t finish my glass.

    For Gabe is one of my favorite SP beers. Had a bottle in March and it was still banging. This keg onsite has a fair amount of oxidation and was just not there for me.

    There’s clearly something to bottle aging vs keg. It seems the bottles age better then the kegs. I’ll still take a draft vintage pour anytime it’s available, but putting some more thought into my cellar picks.

    Oh yeah, DB Mizunara was amazing.
