Excited to be able to try it again and to side by side with the original Generational!
Feel a little bad for friends that drove down just to try it on-site
So how many non-LC members find themselves on the beer page hitting refresh too often...?
Yup. I log before 11/12 EST when something seems to be in air release wise and have an item(s) in my cart so it's ready for a surprise drop to check out, just in case.
Last time I put something in my cart before, it still made me re-login after adding the beer, but I like the logic. May queue that up. Unfortunately, I'll be on the road tomorrow, so no way to refresh throughout the day.
SP had the audacity to send a "you still have something in your cart email" 8 hours after I missed the last release....
We were just a week early on this lol
“you still have $20 + tax of disappointment in your cart.”
This was hilarious.
Sigh. I am going to do horrible things to trade for one of these and then try to buy one in the (hopefully) public sale anyway.
SP followers could have their own branch of psychology named for them at this point.
I'm sorry, the FOMO is Stage 4 and it's terminal.
Surprised it’s not FT yet
Likely for sale though
its all over fb already. sounds like some popped up within a minute of the LC email.
Raji was the original patient.
it is...for brown water
Let’s see what else we can manifest…..
Phase Three collab
BA Coco Vibes b2
Peanut Butter Vibes
Do people (broadly) really want omnipollo collab? I wasn’t really aware anyone cares about Omni in…really any way. So, this is a very real question.
I’m allergic to nuts, including peanuts, so obviously I could care less about a PB vibes. On one hand, it is disappointing that it would be a beer I can’t have, on the other hand…no FOMO. -And that sounds like a win!
BA Brooklyn Vibes was supposed to be coming wasn’t it?
Omnipollo could demand waxed cans, sexually suggestive labels, and hell even, fried chicken!
It was supposed to be vanilla, maple, cocoa, and marshmallow.
But it was also supposed to be out 4 months ago.
I might have missed it, but what was the cost on DB Generational for LC memebrs? Generational is the only BA stout I’ve been l able to land so crossing my fingers lightning strikes twice, if this gets packaged too.
50 bones for a 375. Same as on site price
I want the ryewine with casitas, the monkish stout collab and the rye stout with narrow gauge too!
2019, this guy has to be ready right? Or maybe blended into something else?
I kind of wonder if any of these collabs that seem like they should have been out by now were turned into the parfaits….
my brother specifically asked Tommy and Cory years ago at one of the CSV releases “when is peanut butter vibes getting released?” and they both said the same thing: “that’s never going to happen.”
feel like that’s possible. at the same time, there’s not a ton of rush on 15-16% BA stouts / BWs even if they’re bottled and labeled. i’m thinking with their newer approach, they spread them out so as to have different white labels and other saisons to package them with. just a guess though.
Don’t forget that they’re still likely being affected by the bottle shortage. I think that is impacting releases more than anything.
Yeah, but they’ve also said never doing nuts and now we’ve had walnut & pecan.
So there’s hope.
i would love to see that or something like coffee / cinnamon vibes or coffee / vanilla vibes.
Maybe they’re just being maliciously pedantic. Technically walnuts and pecans are seeds, not nuts. We’ll know they’re full of shit when they do an acorn stout.
Sounds like something Scratch would do
Technically peanuts are also not nuts, they're legumes.
What the fuck IS a nut?
you wanna know what’s nuts? a $50 375mL
RBBT2 bottled almost three months ago. I think that’s next.
Before anyone else says it...b1 was better.
I dunno. They just showed Anabasis in a glass. I suspect that is up before RBBT, assuming that isn’t in some way related to the BBT release.
I mean, they have been able to put saison in bottles with what seems to be relative ease (and I'm certainly not complaining about that). Do they use the same bottles for stout and barleywine? Perhaps the saisons need to be bottled on a more definitive schedule whereas the BA stouts and barleywines can sit in barrels longer?
I'm partially to blame for the bottle shortage. I've been keeping the empties to try brewing a saison but maybe I should just bring them back!
This is a real good point. If we all bring back our stout bottles to the brewery can we have more stouts/faster?????????
i was excited about this post, until i saw you werent heisenbrew
anyway i hope you're right!
