Really sucks for the people that traveled and will miss out on Forever Darkness. I learned my lesson with St Louis weather forecasts when I had to drive almost 50 miles in heavy snow going 25 mph on I-64 on my way back to Atlanta after the 2019 brewery anniversary. Never again.

 

I'm sorry you've had to deal with some shit weather, really, I am.

For those looking to visit, I'd encourage you to visit Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDot)'s Traveler's Map website. It's not instantaneously updated, but they do a pretty solid job of updating throughout the day during snow clearing efforts. Mind you, this map is relevant to current, and as reported road conditions. You'd do well to also look at future forecasts across the route you plan on traveling.

Hope everyone traveling to and from is safe. I was actually considering visiting next week, but may see what I can do to shift that with the rescheduled date, or ask my proxy for a pick up and just push off this month. Seems like it's been shit on the weekends, and St. Louis has got the brunt of the last couple of storms.

 

So what happened exactly, I read post about people saying how great it was sipping on beer in great weather, the suddenly overnight a storm swept in?

 

Yes. It was almost 60 at midnight and by 10 am it was sleet & ice.

 

AKA typical MO weather.

i was just thinking the same thing. if you visited solo, it would take you 3 nights of solid, committed drinking sessions to run through their stout options.

not to mention i’d be having a pour of Adjudicator in between every stout pour

 

Goddamn. I picked the wrong time to take a break from drinking. I guess I'll take up sniffing glue.

 

Stay away from a macro glue like Elmers. This is a good option.

No comment on how it stacks up to D9 since people have an unhealthy relationship with that one. I will leave comparisons to D9 alone.

D12 had everything. I think cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, maple, Jack fruit, peanut brittle.

D12 is the best derivation. Curious if others have a different / wrong opinion on the best derivation.

 

i would agree with that. TWCP, D9 & D7 up there for me too.
