why? This is nothing new. These beers have been expensive since 2019 and will continue to be. The fact we’re still having conversations about it, as if we expected it ever change, is almost more barf inducing than anything else.

I'm just disappointed that side project is holding a gun to everyone and making them buy these at the prices they choose to sell them at. Real bummer

I could be misremembering but in 2019 the most expensive beers were $50/25oz. I think For Gabe was the first $60 beer. Now we're talking about beers that are potentially $60/12oz. Those aren't the same. Your point about me bitching about something that isn't going to change is fair though. My disgust is mostly with myself because I'm probably going to buy it even though there are like 15 big beers already sitting in my closet

That lineup is absurd. Definitely some hard decisions to make between tappings at the various locations. Very tempted to make a run down on Saturday even though I can't stay until open on Sunday.

Curious to find out more about the 10-year barleywine that's to go each day as well.

2019 is when the packages started and the overall price of entry increased

but it wasn’t double or triple barrel aged and has no expensive adjuncts, like vanilla.

We also don’t know the price of the beers next week yet, people just assumed they’d be at the top of the price point and lost their minds.

I will also be in Kentucky for a few days on my way back after the festivities (any Bourbon advices/stops would be very much appreciated)

If anyone want to share some beers, I’m your guy
Is not my first time driving to St Louis (did it before last March)

This would be a good time to take out a credit card that you need to spend 3k on in 3 months to get that "bonus"

More importantly, the next batch of BFS is coming soon, per the can cooler at the brewery.

This is.....actually not a terrible idea. Jesus.
