Anyone at the Cellar know how long it was available to-go?

    Apparently no longer available.

But have no fear folks. A new listing at the same low, low price.

Is there any more info on this one? Is it served "still " like other candles variants have been. What are the barrels, anyone try it and have tasting notes? I don't think any candles has ever been bottled before this unless I'm forgetting something.

Call me a noob but how do people know when these bottles will be available? And how are people acting so fast? I imagine most here are not in the StL area.

There hasn’t ever been a bottled Candles. Cory just gave a little speech about how the bottles sold in the one-hour window today were the only time they’ll ever be sold.

As to the actual beer…it’s a delight. There’s so much vanilla that it becomes marshmallow-y.

On a semi related note I just opened double willet single vanilla derivation and ho-lee fuck. This is a staggeringly good beer. I put it right next to Rye BBT1 as my favorite SP stout I've had. I find a lot of side project stouts hard to drink more than a few oz because of thickness/heaviness or sweetness. I could definitely do a 500ml of this solo

This is from untappd so maybe someone there took this from the draft description:

Our Quintuple barrel-aged O.W.K. stout recipe blended with our Generational stout recipe aged in Buffalo Trace Barrels and then finished on 10 varieties of Vanilla Beans

Seems like maybe they had some leftover after putting everything in kegs (but not enough for another keg) and decided to bottle it?

    From the blog:

10 Candles is a 10th Anniversary Blend of the first "still" beer we ever served. The Anniversary Candles beers are have always been served still and uncarbonated to represent how our beers taste when sampled straight from the barrel. 10 Candles celebrates this series with a special blend of our Generational Stout recipe aged for 24 months in Buffalo Trace barrels and our Quintuple barrel-aged O.W.K. recipe which was also found in our Anniversary beer Deca-. This blend of barrel-aged stouts was then finished with 10 varieties of vanilla beans for our 10 years.

These 10 candle trade offers on FB are wild…and by wild, I mean stupid. FOMO factor on steroids right now

Mystery Derivations tomorrow at the Cellar are D3 and D15. God bless us, everyone.

Most shocking is that we haven't seen any FTs for BTAC yet. They're coming.

I really hope SP is holding on to bottles of 10 year barleywine, Triple barrel Anabasis, and 10 Candles for the first all-stout package for LC. Wouldn't that be cool as hell?
