Any idea when the cans will be released, post on IG makes it seem like it’s available already

 

Regular Gesha is so, so subtle, it's often overpowered in stouts, so having it in a nitro beer has me even more worried it will be way too muted. That said, this is one of the most intriguing sounding coffee stouts I've seen in a minute, with the koji process perhaps adds some complexity or brightness that could open it up or cut through a little more. Will definitely be ISO.

 

Has anyone had a can recently from the last batch? I have one left I’ve been saving for a friend which just hasn’t panned out. I know drink by date has past, but curious if it’s holding up.

 

i have not but i would be willing to bet if it’s been refrigerated it’s fine.

My GF is over in STL now and I'd gladly make her dinner in exchange for some cans of CSV.

Agree. Thought it was very similar to the earliest SP saisons. Really good stuff.

what?! how is that cheaper than the (still available) current BBT package? figured that vintage one would be at least $225-250

 

yeah, sort of a steal if going off of retail of those 4 from past was, $155 (that’s off of a 750 fuzzy price) so $135 seems spot on, but no up charge for “cellaring.”

 

and i guess no glass, but i’m still shocked at that price tag.

 

Yeah, the lack of a cellaring or "vintage" charge is what caught me. Also it appears to come with a bag. $7 bonus!

 

fiscally irresponsible not to buy it!
