I haven’t had the pleasure. I’ve heard it a love it or hate it kinda beer. I assume most tea beers will be that way. I just appreciate the experimentation with an “adjunct” that isn’t vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, cacao, etc.

I've never had any of the Provence series and I feel like people rarely mention them even though there have been several iterations. It's the one I'm most skeptical of in that pack. Anyone care to share their thoughts of others in that series?

Which wasn't far off from Biggleswade or Temeculan tbh.

the very first one was great and all the others have been a little meh for me. coincidentally i just had a Blueberry Rosehip last night. very tasty, especially at room temp but still very sour after over a year in the bottle. the blackberry chamomile i remember liking pretty well too. think that was the 4th entry in the series.

90% of the fun in STLCB is the trolling, until you’re on the trading end, then 90% is anxiety trying to figure out an offer you won’t get laughed at vs underselling. I always find it funny how butt-hurt some guys get on the BA forums for feedback. This place is so much calmer than FB

Y’all are heathens. It should be fewer, not less.

    …fewer or 0 tea beers.

In just over 2 weeks, I'll be visiting St. Louis with a couple buddies and the 3 Side Project locations will all be hit, at least once. Do any BA folks want to potentially meet up to get a few more mouths around the table so we can do more bottles? If so, hit me up in my DMs so we can trade contact info as still TBD what day(s)/time(s) we'll be at each one.

@ShutUpLiver, jump in my DM if I can still take you up on your offer to split a bottle of Anabasis while down there. We're staying at an Airbnb a couple miles from SP.

I'm beyond excited for this and looking forward to buying many bottles for consumption of things I've only read about!!!

We'll be drinking around STL on 4/20, 4/21 & 4/22. I meant to put that in my original post but clearly that escaped my mind!

D17 is really good. Much better as it warms up and the vanilla starts to pop. Works really well with the cognac barrel. Also love the 375's. I was able to take my time and drink one by myself at the cellar without getting too drunk or having to share it with someone. Though I wish they would have done 750's of it to go and kept the 375's for on site.

I know a lot of people on this site get it when it comes to temperature, but it’s just so astoundingly simple…drink these stouts warmer. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to taste the temp range, but I expect to enjoy these types of beers after a long time in glass/out of the fridge.

It’s not different from wine either…people drink their whites way too chilled and their reds straight out of the microwave.
