I'm planning on putting up a trade offer but wanted to crowd source some opinions. I have an Upland Raspberry Lambic and a Black Tuesday 2012 that I'd like to combo for a trade. I'm interested in bb Flanders (had a trade set up that fell apart), du ble, fermier, and unblended. Slight preference to bb and unblended but close to equal. Are my 2 equal to 1 of those listed or two? 1+ something limited and local? If not 2:2, would adding a de garde bu seem right to land 2? Thanks for the feedback!
Having traded for SP a lot, I'd say that the two "easiest" of that bunch based on what you've listed FT seems to be du Blé and SdF both b2, but I feel as though even for those 2 you'd have to add, and adding de Garde seems as though it should seal it... The other 2 on your SP wish list, again IMO, are both on b1 and superb and worth seeking, however I'd feel like you'd have to go back to the drawing board in terms of what you've listed FT. That being said, beer trading is crazy, and making an actual beer trading regular partner is simply the way to go, and again IMO, there's no better way to do that than to go over the top. As @evilcatfish said, in the end, "only one way to find out"...
Agreed - certainly only comes from doing. But iit doesn't mean seeking input first is a bad idea so as not to clog the boards with patently bad offers. Appreciate the input.
