No SN Beer has ever knocked my socks off or ever "blown me away."

Although, I've never had, nor ever heard of a bad beer or "infected batch" from them.

I'll admit to you all BAs that it took me a long time to aquire a taste for beer...let alone craft.

My craft journey started around age 23 and I'm now 33. Even when I started to love craft beer, I still despised SN. That house profile sure is an aquired taste even after you love good beer.

Fast forward to today...no other craft brewery controls quality the way I've experienced with SN, let alone the face that their hoppy beers hold up leaps and bounds better than their counterparts...

    Hats off! Much love!

    Cheers!

I most definitely agree. I absolutely 100% love everything I've ever had from Sierra Nevada. The consistency is tremendous and I truly admire their year round line up and seasonals, I don't even get most of the one offs but it doesn't really even matter since the rest are amazing enough. Much love indeed!

I do not comprehend your journey in the least (they have long defined 'good beer' to me), but I agree with the last part wholeheartedly! Much love, indeed.

They have always made, and continue to make, some of my faves of their respective styles; they have incredible seasonals; and they do it on such a large scale as to pave the way for everyone else to be able to do it with equal integrity. Huzzah!

In on this bandwagon. I do have some friends who say they don't like anything from Sierra Nevada, which blows my mind because they are one of the most consistent brewers I have seen; plus available everywhere. Never had a disappointing beer from them at all. I know that when I choose a six pack from them, I have chosen a delicious beer regardless of style.

Sierra Nevada and Torpedo don't get enough appreciation, especially not in the form of dedicated threads (oh, wait...) Isn't Torpedo the #1 IPA in America?

Big surprise to all of you that I'm giving a rock-n-roll fist pump to the Hoptimum! Sierra does a great job with alot of beers but doesn't get enough credit. The Pale Ale introduced me to hoppy beers in the early days.

Is it too early to want a celebration ale?

I like the fact that they collaborate with other brewers that dont have the same distro reach. So thanks to Sierra Nevada I can cave a Russian River brew in Texas. Thanks.

I also try to appreciate all the beers from SN. Everyone they come out with I try and pick up. I will admit I think their hefe and porter aren't my favorites but their stout, pale, torpedo, harvest, hoptimum and even their collaborations are some of my favorites. As much as I love trying new beers, something in me wants to just go pick up a case of the pale for the long weekend ahead.

Sierra Nevada PA is the first craft brew that l ever tried. I really loved that stuff when l was younger and didn't know much. But it is still good, and yes, amazingly consistant. But, l hate their Celebration Ale so much that it's hard for me to even look at any of their other options. Sucks that a seasonal did that. Might just be me. I have family in the area who wait all year for that stuff, and they're smart, awesome people, so it makes me wonder if l should revisit it.

I encourage you to revisit Celebration Ale. I really like most Sierra Nevada beers, but I especially look forward to Celebration each year. Maybe it's not for you, and that's okay, but do give it another try.

Drinking my second Torpedo of the evening. So of course I will join the thread.
SN is a great brewery. I will never hesitate to try one of their new offerings.
It may not always be my first choice, but it has never been a choice I regret.

I love the fact that these guys deliver FRESH IPAs to Texas. I always check the dating on bottles of SN just because I am so incredibly impressed... I have never purchased a SN beer that was more than 3 weeks old and in most cases they've only been bottled under 2 weeks.

There are many local breweries that can't accomplish that! Heck, I'm lucky to find Stone that is under 2 months old!

It also helps that it's normally $13.99 a 12-pack or even as low as $11.99 on sale (I bought 2 cases at Spec's the other day for this price).

Thank you for being cheap, fresh, and readily available in Texas SN!! <3 <3 <3

My journey the exact opposite. Loved beer from the start, finally found fine beers, and then fine beers made in America. SN Pale Ale was the first American beer woowwww moment for me. Still love almost all they do. Wish I could say we got the hoppy stuff fresher around here, though, lately.
