When the 2019 SN release calendar came out, there was a lot of talk about changes to the variety packs. Now I see that variety packs aren't on the calendar (since the website change?). What's the current plan for variety pack releases?

It is, just select distribution for the cans. The variety pack will be nationwide.

Terence, thank you for answering my BA thread queries. I was 100% unsuccessful figuring this stuff out via the information on your website.

    Cheers!

Why does SN hate us Glissade lovers so much? :sunglasses:

Well that's a shame to hear they're no longer making BFD. Always kept a can in the fridge for when the craving hit and certainly drank quite a bit of it last summer and several times through the winter. Always seemed the local Wegmans had a hard time keeping it on the shelves too, would sell out shortly after arrival.

Thanks for the info. I need to say I’m out though. Pale and Torpedo keep me away from mix packs. I love the coffee stout but to get only 2 in a box I will pass this year. I get putting the two core beers in the pack but just not for me. I really liked the winter packs with stout.

    Enjoy

Add my name to the list of those that will greatly miss BFD. Bought six of them in Mills River when I was there back in (early March?). Had no idea it was the last canning run...

I had randomly come across 3-Weight in the Mills gift shop early last summer. They had just a few six packs left at that point. Darn good beer and a beautiful can.[IMG]

Yes, this is a great variety pack. And since it is a club store pack it will be a case. That will be 6 of each...I’m good at the maths.

Lately I’ve been snagging cans of BFD packaged in November ‘18 and January ‘19, and I’m pleased to report that both batches are still darn tasty. I’ll miss this beer. Sierra Nevada is one of the few craft breweries that I would buy 6 month old packaged beer from and be confident that it will still be enjoyable.

Bringing back BFD would be nice, sure, but Glissade Golden Bock needs to come first.

(My continuing mission of mentioning Glissade in every SN-related post continues until I see it again)

Ughhhh , guess I will pass. Buying a 12 pack to get 2 coffee stouts. Not a fan of SNPA or Torpedo. Flip side is ok, never had the other two.

    Coffee stout 12 packs please.

    Or,

    Stout
    Porter
    Coffee stout
    Bigfoot

    That’s apack I buy , a lot.

Even 12 packs of the regular sour and I’m in.

    Enjoy

hm costco has one in cans (24 pack) that includes Pale Ale, Hop Bullet, 3 Weight and Sierraveza. I have seen it in Atlanta and Houston.

Is that the only way to get the Vienna, flipside and coffee stout? Is it a Sam’s Club exclusive? If so that’s bogus.

Coffee Stout is in a different variety pack than Vienna. Vienna & Flipside are in a club store pack i.e. Sam's Club, Costco. The other variety pack, which includes Coffee Stout as well as Flipside, will be in all other stores which typically carry SN.
