    We haven't done one of these in a while, so I thought I'd start one up. With Sierra Nevada getting very wide distribution hopefully we can get more people involved in this one. The tasting is March 12 at 8 pm, that should give plenty of time for some people to hopefully find some older vintages.

    Sounds great- I'm in! I'll be on the road all day, but 8pm will be very doable.

    I don't think our area has the 2016s yet- hopefully we get them soon. I have older ones if need be.

    If you don't have the 2016s they should be on the shelves soon. Hopefully we can get enough people with older vintages to make this one could be cool to see how some of the older ones are holding up.

    Excellent choice, NJ seems to get SN beers late for some reason but we should have the 2016 by than. I doubt I'll be able to find any old beer but will try. Does anyone know if Bigfoot is brewed in Chico and Mills River?

    I should have access to 2015 and 2016 Vintages by then. It's a beer I've been meaning to try, but haven't had. Really, I have to delve into the barleywine style as a whole. Come to think of it.. I think I've only had one barleywine so far... :grimacing:

    I have a few 2014, ill keep an open eye for 2016 to compare the two. Also i think i kno of somewhere that still has a barrel aged sitn on the shelves. Hope its still there.

    Im definitely in. I have two '15 Bigfoots that were packaged in December 2014 so they are both 15 months old by the time of the tasting. As for keeping them in a cool dark place, they were in the corner in a box with no top in a bedroom so we will see. Ill be drinking both that night to see how it changes back to back. Cheers lookin forward to it.

    Oh hey, might actually be able to do this one, after missing every other one of these "everyone have this particular beer on this night and post your thoughts mid-drinking" so far since I've been on here.

    I do have one 2015 Bigfoot left and plan on getting some of the 2016 when I see it around. Never had any fresher than ~10 non-refrigerated-shelf months old so might be interesting to try some that hasn't had much time to age yet...
