Unless a distributor (like mine) wants to clear all of his Summer Break before giving us Celebration.

Sorry, just had to snark a little Terence.

cans or bottles doesn’t matter to me. If I have the option I usually choose cans because they pack in my fridge easier and I can take them more places. More than ok to buy 12 pack bottles. Probably go with cans on the six packs while I wait for the 12ers

Sierra T's post above -- bottles only in cases... and only at "club" stores -- unless you're near Chico?

I am not close to chico. What about 12 packs? They have to have 12 packs. There is a Sam’s club kinda close, 30 min drive, and Costco of course. Not a member of sam’s club so that’s out.

That's okay, I just looked at the website for the local chain retailer, who carries more brands than most other retailers, and they don't even list Celebration.

They have every other SN label, including unavailable seasonals (and discontinued labels!), but no Celebration.

    Some sort of boycott?

Just 12-pack cans, according to Terence's post just above -- post #18.

They missed a trick with the release of Dune, perfect time to play up the spice angle.

I’m all in for Celebration just like every year. It’s a great product and a great price point. I just wish they would delay a bit as I prefer to start on this one when there is at least a chance of snow. I start buying Celebration last week of Nov./first week of Dec. and already the bottle date is October.

    it’s

It’s like Octoberfest beers being distributed in August, or Halloween decorations in September, Christmas stuff in October, etc.

I just enjoyed a 71 degree late afternoon on the back patio after work today in MI - I’m nowhere near ready for Celebration Ale.

People do understand it is a Fresh Hop Ale, right? It says so right on the label/now can, or at least it used to.

the good thing about celebration is they usually have multiple releases. Last year I remember at least 2 if not 3 different bottle dates. each one being later than the other. So if you feel so inclined you can pass on the first batch and wait for the second when it’s colder.

That is an option for those areas, like yours, that obtain multiple releases. In contrast it has been the situation that the Wholesale Distributor in my area just obtains one BIG order (because they negotiate a bulk rate discount price?) and they just release from that one BIG order to the retailers over a period of a few months.

    Cheers!

Celebrate multiple release locations. :hugging::hugging: And to top that off, it's raining for the first time in months, certainly something to Celebrate.
