It’s that time of year again. Celebration was released in Mills River yesterday (and I assume Chico) and it’s starting to trickle out according to Untappd checkins. Last year it hit the Triad area of NC on 10/22, so we should be getting it within the next week or so. Anyone seen it yet?

12 November was my first one last year. I start looking just before Thanksgiving

    Enjoy

C’mon man can we get through Halloween before we start getting ready for Christmas?

Hoping it's on the shelves when I get home in a couple days

I took my daughter to see Halloween decorations at Home Depot but there were more Christmas decorations than anything!

I get it’s a Christmas themed beer, but a fresh hopped IPA is best consumed as quickly as possible.

I concur. You should come out here in late September or October if that’s your objective.

I feel the beer version of "Die Hard is a Christmas movie" happening...

All kidding aside, without a doubt one of the greatest American brews that is somewhat widely available.

A great suggestion, but perhaps a bit higher price tag than a sixer (or 8) of celebration

True, but also an opportunity to taste some real fresh-hop beers. Every hoppy-beer lover should make the pilgrimage at least once.

Definitely a must do item for any hop heads

Wonder what "spice" they are adding this year.

A tradition as old as time.

    NO GODDAMMIT NO!

I love celebration. Absolutely love it. But it’s too early!! Just like how there were Christmas trees in lowes last month. And pumpkin beer on the shelves in freakin July. Can we as a society please stop releasing seasonal stuff way too early?

But celebration isn't a Christmas beer. It's an ipa made with the first round of hops that SN brings in each year. It's always been an October release (since that's when a beer brewed with the hops harvested in September and then conditioned for 2 weeks is done) as long as I've been drinking it.
