I didn't care of this pack at all, as opposed to the fresh hop one. Except for the double one, which is weird but enjoyable, the rest is average at best.

Looks like my local store got it yesterday (after I asked them), so will be stopping in to pickup after work today. Will report back this weekend when we crack into them. Excited!

I think the theme for my reviews is, underwhelming. They're all solid beers, but nothing that really stood out and nothing I'd want to buy again, particularly for the price of the pack. As noted by others, the DIPA is interesting, but overall, average.

I grabbed this last nite, random store had it and as I mentioned in another thread, have a hard time passing up these samplers. I really enjoyed the Pils, going to try the double tonite, but that pils needs to end up in it's own 12 pack

So I just finished each of the fours beers in this pack. Honestly, very impressed across the board.

The session was really tasty. Def got the herbal, coconut like notes. This would be really nice in summer.

Loved the Pilsner! Very solid. Had the signature nobel hop flavor profile, with that extra character (I picked up a hair of lavender).

The IPA was AMAZING. Would buy this up all the time if year round. Was so pungent in hop aroma/flavor. Brewed this morning, and this IPA smelled like those fresh hop bags cracked open when measuring out my hops. Blew us away, girlfriend went nuts for this one, as well.

The DIPA reminded me a lot of oak aged Jai Alai, actually. Such a unique flavor profile. Oak, leather, earthy. Hard to consider it as a traditional DIPA, but it's still really good!

In order of preference, I would go with...

    1. IPA
    2. Pilsner
    3. DIPA
    4. Session

Very impressive overall! Can't wait for the next pack.

The Pilsner was the star of the show... Is buy it as a standalone but not the others... For the $, it was just mediocre at best....

I bought this one today. 18.99. Canned between 1-8 and 1-10. Pack assembled 1-23.

The regular ipa (not the session or double) took a leap out of my fridge as I was moving things around and promptly erupted so I saved and drank what I could (about half a beer). Well made beer but the hop flavor, I think, is not for me. It sort of has a skunky funk to it that reminds me of eureka/experimental grapefruit hops.

I tried the Pilsner next. It’s good. Well made. I’d say the hops play a bit role in this one and the grainy Pilsner malt is most prominent. Hop flavor and particularly the aroma sort of remind me of apple cider.

Just got this one today, looking forward to the Pilsner. I also like I can stack a couple 12 packs in the kitchen fridge because the box proudly proclaims HOP PACK which means my son's peer group won't touch that "uug, bitter stuff".

I thought the Pils and session in this pack were really good.

Thoroughly enjoyed this release, though I still haven't opened the double. The Pils was fucking on. Can't say enough good things about that one. The IPA was damn good, but at first I found it hard to get past the literal marijuana note. Eventually I grew to love it, and it was damn drinkable if I must say. The Session was good, and it was the one that really felt the most "experimental", as I didn't recall having an IPA that was remotely similar to this one in the past. If it were more crisp I would have loved it even more.

Session-Absolutely fantastic! As others have stated, would be a summer staple. Coconut presence works wonders.

DIPA-Very nice! The oak is the main player. WOJA was mentioned, and I believe that to be accurate as well, but even more so, it has similarities to Homefront IPA from Cigar City.

Pils-I get a slightly hopped High Life from this one. That may not sound like a compliment at the price point, but High Life stays on fridge rotation and has for many years.

IPA-Just solid. The least standout of the pack for me. Nonetheless, a very tasty IPA.

$20.99 in the Panhandle of FL.

Can never get the hemisphere beers around here anymore. We actually get less beer with worse dates here than before they opened in North Carolina.

Hmmm didn't find this release in Northern Indiana. Was this a one and done distro? I don't want 3 month old IPAs at this point. Yeah, I am that guy.

It took a while to find it in Maine. Initially I found two of the four as singles at a beer shop. I asked if they could order a 12 pack for me, which they tried to do but were told the distributor was out and would not be getting any more.

Yesterday I stopped at another store and found 10 12 packs. Go figure. Needless to say I stocked up.

Granted, fresher is better, but I’ve never been disappointed with three month old Sierra Nevada. If you’re a SN drinker and you find this at three months old, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Pulled the trigger on this one yesterday. Had the Pilsner and IPA so far and I will say that I was very impressed with both of them. Will probably try the Session and Double tonight.

After trying all 4, I have to agree with this as far as ranking them. The IPA and Pilsner were awesome with the IPA being the best by far. I liked the Double IPA, but I thought the oak flavor took over much of it. The Session is very good as well, but unfortunately there has to be a last place lol.

Stumbled upon a 24oz bottle of the experimental hop pils at the mills river brewery this evening for $3. Still killer.
