I'd check your glasses sir. The overall score is an 85, not 95 which means the beer is good, but not great.....which I agree with 100%. I thought it was a bit thin actually and not even close to being on par with Celebration or Torpedo.

I got flipside as soon as it hit the shelves in CT. barley drinkable. hops were over the hill. it takes some time to get out here and then it sits on the distributor's floor. by the time I see it in the local store - it's old.

The first reports of Flipside on the shelves in Chico and Davis, CA (earlier in this thread) were Aug 23 & 24. It's NOT old!

It's also still not on the shelves in my fair city.

I give it a 70 rating. The hop profile leaves a lot to be desired. Same goes for the malt. This goes down as a fail alongside Ruthless

Don't know why both Narwhal and Flipside were delivered to Holland, Grand Rapids, and Southern Indiana, but none here in Kalamazoo. What gives SN?

It's an Ok beer. Not great. Not sure if I'd buy it again. I think Ruthless is much better.

I've had some recently. It's good. Just a decent American amber ale, but with an unusual melon-like aroma that don't expect in this kind of beer.

A tasty beer, made it to FL relatively quickly, and for $12.99 a 12 pack at Publix you can't go wrong!

I found and picked up the Beer Camp Imperial Red where I live but they don't Flipside around here. Does anyone know how the two compare?

Pouring it down my throat right now. Ahhhhhhhhhh. A very good IPA from a brewery that couldn't disappoint me if they tried.
