I don't know why, but it reminds me of the Ruthless label. Colors are different, subject matter is different, in other words I've got no good reason for seeing similarity there but I do

You know what's great about Sierra Nevada? They bring out a great new beer and you know it's just a matter of time until you can get your hands on as much as you want whenever you want.

Looking forward to this seasonal - and yes, I still haven't gotten over SN cutting Glissade & Anniversary IPA as seasonals (to replace them with IMO highly mediocre Ruthless and Tumbler).

I miss the Anniversary Ale as well, was sad to see that one go. I hope to have it again one day, or at least homebrew it once I know what I am doing.

Keeping an eye out for this one in PA. According to the press release from Sierra Nevada today, Tuesday 7/30, this will be a September release and will be in addition to Tumbler.

Maybe now "Red IPA will be this years Black IPA. Either way, hopheads will rejoice!

Hoping it just comes close in taste to CCB' Tocobaga Red Ale, which to me is basically an awesome marriage of an American Red/Amber and an IPA

I'm stoked to say the least...just as long as it doesn't knock tumbler out...I love that beer.

Didn't SN have something also called "Flipside" but it was a double or IIPA that was just Meh ?

I guess I'm a heretic then. When I post my 95 beer theses that challenge conventional orthodoxy here, just promise not to excommunicate me :stuck_out_tongue:.

Interesting...SN had (has?) a draft-only beer called FlipSide but it's just a standard IPA/DIPA. I wonder if they are at all similar.

Thank you for being an even bigger fan boy than me. You're my scapegoat when I am said to like Sierra too much.

A badge I wear with honor. If the only beer I ever drink from this day forth is SN, well then, so be it. (Well maybe Firestone too... & Lagunitas & RR...)

The label style is very similar, probably the same artist/designer. Can't wait to try this.
