Picked up the fall 12 pack and remembered really digging this last year. Happy to say this year it's even better imo. This beer is on the money for what I want in the fall. Even pulling a bit of smoke that I didn't get last year but it works! What say you?

I just crushed a Fall Pack this weekend, loved it, I was really impressed with the Vienna Lager, Flipside was really good as well, I thought it was well balanced and very drinkable. Tumbler brown ale was also good, looking forward to enjoy another Fall Pack before Snow Pack comes around, love the Coffee Stout, I wish it was sold as a six-pack. Sierra Nevada variety packs are right on for the money, value, and quality.

I enjoy Flipside, think it's right on the money this year. I've gone through two Fall Packs and plan to pick up at least one more.

I have to admit though - as much as I love Flipside and Tumbler - Vienna Lager is the star this year IMO.

I enjoyed sierra nevada's fall case as well. Tumbler was mild and really good and flipside was biscuity with a streak of caramel. Citrusy spicy.

I enjoyed a couple fall packs so far. Love Tumbler this time of year. Flipside was good, but I agree that the Vienna lager was a nice surprise.

Glad to hear it's still good - Flipside is a nice one I usually go to pretty frequently this time of year. Will have to pick that pack up this weekend

Used to buy a lot of it when they sold it separately.

Have the fall pack in my fridge. I haven't had tumbler in probably 3-4 years. I am looking forward to it and also trying the Vienna lager

I did notice a nice roasted taste to this year's Flipside. I remember it being hoppier last year, but this year has a better balance.

Sierra Nevada is killing it with their variety packs. I didn't care much for Flipside when it first came out, but I'm happy to give it another go as soon as this pack arrives to town.

Flipside is enjoyable and I have had it many times over the years, but I think I enjoyed SA's Hoppy Red just a tiny bit more this year.

I agree with Vienna Lager being awesome and I wish they sold this year-round (or at least made it a standalone seasonal).

I enjoyed last year's Flipside better. I honestly preferred a red IPA I made to this year's.

I liked Flipside and Tumbler a lot. Would buy them in 6 packs if they were still available.

Palates change, beers don't or at least that seems to be the general consensus around here.

I agree with both these fine BA's that Vienna is great, and for me, the winner in this year's pack. That being said, it's not by a huge margin -- all of the beers are tasty and are worth drinking. It's a fantastic set -- I wish SN would give lessons on how to prepare seasonal packs.

SN has made a fanboy out of me with these variety packs. I went through two Summer Packs and will buy at least 2-3 more Fall Packs. I wasn't a big fan of Flipside previously, but I agree that this year's has a nice subtle smoky/roasty note.

Also, count me as another vote for year-round Vienna Lager.

This post has convinced me to go out and get a Fall mix 12 pack for this weekend.

I didn't care for Flipside last year, too sweet not roasty enough and I love most of what they make. But sounds like I will be giving it another try when I see the Fall Pack around here (if they come). Looking forward to finally trying the Vienna lager.
I still need to petition for more SN Kolsch though. Thats become my new favorite SN beer.
