Refermented in the bottle with Brettanomyces bruxellensis, Brux will change and develop over time. Copper-colored, dry and complex, with slightly tart notes of green grass, pear, spice and lemon – this ale will progress in the bottle for many years.

    Style: American Wild Ale
Availability: 750ml bottles, corked & caged.
    Arrival: July, 2012

You forgot the part about it being available in reasonably priced six-packs everywhere Sierra Nevada beers are sold.

No. I stated that because I don't like wilds/sours/bret. Just a personal opinion. I'm sure there are quite a few people in here that will enjoy it tremendously. If the water in the fountain of youth was bretted...I'd just go on my merry way and die an my normally scheduled time.

Sounds excellent. Pretty soon SA (EDIT: SN...and a tip o' the hat to olympuszymurgus!) will have filled all my U.S. craft beer needs.

SN knows how to keep the people happy, this beer may not be as affordable as the 30th anniversary line-up but I'm sure the price will be reasonable. SN is just plain good at that and hopefully the distro will be the same as all other SN beers.

Fair enough. Just seems weird you would take the time to comment on a beer style you know you don't like and trash a beer you haven't had yet. Anyways, I know I'm hyped to try this, hopefully they'll have a release at the RR brewpub.

I'm only buying it if it was aged in hot-sauce barrels.

Well there is a very nice brett beer currently headed your way. Had I known that, I would have chosen something else for you.

Oh...hey man. It's cool. They need something on this site that allows you to state what styles you like an what you don't. I have lots of friends in the area with whom I routinely share beer. I even traded a King Henry, which I love, for a Southampton Black Raspberry Lambic (which I do not love)...so the guys can try something special. It'll be appreciated regardless...and it's the thought that counts. I thank you regardless.

I wasn't trashing it. It was a tongue in cheek comment. I love Sierra Nevada. Their 30th Anniversary stuff in particular is among my favorites. I have no doubt this will be a beer many enjoy.

So much love in this thread. A Sierra Nevada/Russian River collaboration really does makes special things happen.
