Wow.........AWESOME news Bill. Count me in. Based on your outstanding Summerfest alone, I trust this will be great.

They're called American Ambers, plenty to be found without tainting the traditional.

This is great news. SN's one of the brewers that can make a massive hoppy beer side by side with an authentic lager and both turn out great. That's a multi-pack I'll certainly be buying.

Does this mean Glissade will come back from the dead next spring?

    Bill,

Have you guys ever considered brewing a Tmavý Ležák (Czech Dark Lager)?

A beer like that would be perfect in an Autumn variety pack or even year round for that matter.

    Cheers!

    Jack

Can we change the title of your thread from question marks to exclamation points? :grinning:

THE TUHMBLAH!? You're bringing it back!? I could kiss you, you beautiful man! :grinning:

Between this and the Beer Camp Across America, Sierra Nevada is going to make a pretty penny off of me.

    Rejoice brother!

There are also so many traditional Ofests out there, do we really need another one? Give me a hoppy version of it and I'll be super happy. That's sort of what they do, right? Remember ESB?

If it was draft only, would a label be needed for it?

Not well-made traditional Oktoberfests -- we can always use more of those.
I'll repeat, Amber Lagers -- you ought to be ecstatic!
    One I'd recommend: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/33205/104716/?ba=steveh
(note that there's no tone of sarcasm at all)
Not always, as I (also) said previously, the Summerfest is right in the wheelhouse for Pilsner. Not overly-hopped, very nice.

SN Bill already confirmed the bottles in the Variety 12 pack.

I'd love it if you came out with a box of lagers. Oktoberfest, Vienna, Summerfest and Glissade back from the dead. I'd pretty much devote every beer dollar I had to a mixed pack like that.

Blew my expectations for the fall variety out of the water. Labor day just got a lot better.

Yes, I was able to read that same post. My question still stands, but is also a general question for ALL label approvals: Does a draft-only release require a "label approval"?
